I absolutely love this film!! Merida is such a fun and exciting character but the mother-daughter conflict throughout the film is what makes this one stand out to me. It's hilarious, heart-warming and full of spirit. Enjoy :)

Yay! I love Brave! ☺️ So glad you enjoyed it. I don’t think this one was super popular - I guess it’s not the usual Disney movie or princess but I think it’s a great story! As you say I love how nuanced it is. I love the mother / daughter relationship - me and my mom like to watch it around Mother’s Day 🤗 - the scenery, the music. But I was SOLD once they promoted it by showing the clip of her with the bow “shooting for her own hand”. People were obsessed with the bow since Hunger Games had come out earlier that year haha.

I tried watching this when i was younger but i never got in to it so hopefully noe at the ripe old age of 22 i will like it more. Although its quite intresting to see a pixar film set in britain im from wales so a couple of hours away from scotland but its still cool

I love this movie. It's actually taken me a couple viewings to actually really appreciate this one but I really love it. Merida is a great Disney princess and doesn't get enough credit in being a big part of ushering in the new era of Disney princesses.

Oh my god YES YES YES! This is my favourite movie alongside Mulan with a strong female lead. I just LOVE watching it with my mum, we are very similar to the characters so it's really nice to bond over this.
