Okay! I finally gave this show a go and MAN was I impressed. This show has so far got a bit of everything; the horror aspects, the mystery unfolding and the campy adventure the group of boys are involved in. Really hoping you guys enjoy this reaction and want more because I love this show so far! Enjoy :)

Also, I do apologise for the sudden brightness changes of myself throughout the video. (I forgot to take my cameras iso off auto)

Wow. First time watching this show. And it did not disappoint. Enjoying your reactions. Like you, I’m aware of the buzz, but never got around to actually watch. I’m a child of the 80’s from a small town in America so it resonates on that level as well.

So excited for the journey you're about to go on with this show! (Granted, I'm a Stranger-Things-podcaster, so I'm biased, but still!) It's always a blast to go back to season one. It's so well made. Can't wait for the next batch of episodes next week! As far as Jonathan's taking photos in the woods, I chalk it up to being a moment where the pastiche/homage of the show gets carried a bit too far. It's a trope that doesn't fully work (at least not to me) and it's ultimately a plot-device to get certain plot elements in motion. Steve's reaction makes sense to me because his privacy was violated, too, right along with Nancy's. But the scene with the camera is framed to make us feel that what's happening is wrong. As you said, it's a nuanced story beat that doesn't get the time it needs to be fully explored. Again - can't wait for more reactions!

Are you able to balance the audio for future videos, even if only on patreon? The show is so quiet compared to your voice, that in order to hear anything on it, your comments are painfully loud.

i LOVE jonathan, but in the scene where steve breaks his camera i really cant feel bad for him. he was really weird for what he did.

I love this series. I get what you said about romanticizing the 80s. I grew up then. We never locked anything, cars, houses. Us kids could go out and be gone all day and be safe. Riding your bike was everything. This show reminds me of those good times. (Of course during that time two serial killers were loose within 30 miles of home, so there was that...😬)
