I had such a good time watching the last film in this incredible trilogy. This one certainly didn't hold any punches when it comes to aging and finding new purpose in life. I personally loved the direction it took and the new characters introduced. Enjoy :)

So this was my first time watching Cars ever and I really enjoyed it! Loved the commentary as always 😁 Fun fact I picked up on real quick when Cruz was motivating the car on the treadmill who was home sick he was from Santa Cecilia!! And music is playing! That’s Miguel’s home in Coco!! Coco came out 4 months after this movie and it is one of my absolute fave Pixar films so I loooved the reference!

In case no one has mentioned it in the other Cars, Dusty and Rusty are played by Click and Clack, the Tappert brothers. Had a NPR radio show here in America back in the 90’s. I love their radio show! Used to look forward to listening to them as I ran errands with my family on the weekends. They’re a hoot! Some of the episodes can be found on Spotify (and I’m sure YouTube). Car Talk is the name of their show.

I used to listen to their show on my way home drivin down the mountain. So funny and insightful. Sad one of the brothers passed away before cars 3 was made. They used recordings from the show to fill in his parts.

I really enjoyed this...it is kinda like showing that just because you take on a new role, coaching instead of racing it is NOT the end of the racing career for Lightning. Just a new phase....

I noticed it in the first one when they laughed and then the “don’t drive like my brother” line 🤣 it is sad one of them passed. I’m surprised the other one is going, too!
