I think this may be my favourite Disney Renaissance film! Absolutely incredible music, characters and a beautiful story about the strength and determination of a woman in Imperial China! Enjoy :)

This was the first movie I saw in the cinema. My mom took me when I was a child, so I have especially fond memories of it 😊

Great reaction! I love this movie. I’m a huge fan of ”ER”, and Mulan’s voice actress (Ming-Na Wen) was on that show for several seasons. She was just as great there. My personal favourite ”I want” song from the 90s is ”Reflection”, and Lea Salonga sings it so beautifully. So much to love with this film. One thing that kind of makes me raise an eyebrow though is Mulan saying to Shang: ”You said you trusted Ping. Why is Mulan any different?” Well maybe because Mulan had been lying to him the entire time, and dishonoured him though the eyes of their culture. That might have something to do with it.
