When it comes to Ross and Rachel I liked the idea of them together in the first two seasons, but since then it’s just gotten more and more toxic. IMHO the chemistry that they had at the start was starting to wear off around now. One thing I do find a little cool though - Phoebe declares that Rachel is Ross’ lobster, which was just a one-off joke but it actually works on another level too, since Ross is allergic to lobster. So she might be the love of his life, but based on what we’ve seen in the first four seasons it isn’t healthy for him to be with her.
