Arrow 2X18: Deathstroke (Patreon)

Did we have any indication, at all, that Summer Glau's character was working with Slade? To me this came out of nowhere. Did I miss something? And now she's got total control? This is crazy! I don't have any idea how business takeover works, but seemed to happen way too quickly. And what does this mean for the rest of the Queen family? Are they broke? Are they still shareholders? I'm so confused!

Anyway, she tells Oliver where Thea is and the gang rolls up, but Thea is gone and they call Quintin to arrest him. However, he's got an alibi and is let go (even though he actually did it), which causes Quintin to get arrested for working with the vigilante.

But Slade spills the beans and tells Thea she's Malcolm's daughter, and Laurel that Oliver is the Arrow.

In other news, Slade helps a bunch of prisoners escape to test the new Mirakuru that Queen Consolidated will now be making, thanks to our new CEO. Roy leaves town (come back!), and Arrow decides that he was right.

Also, Thea being kidnapped have Moira a nice sympathy bump in the polls and Blood is furious. But Slade (who, by the way, is hallucinating seeing Shado), assures him that he'll have the city yet.

This might read like I was skeptical of a lot of things in this episode, but I actually really enjoyed it. Just because I have questions doesn't mean it wasn't great and fun to watch!
