Ugh. Am I the only one who freaks out when we get a black intro? I can't be, right?

I've been fairly sure that Haley is gonna lose this baby for a while now. It's gonna be here. Especially after she told Nathan she was having a boy. They were just too happy about it. Ultimately, I feel like Haley will be fine, but Nathan will have to tell the doctors to sacrifice the baby to save Haley.

Speaking of Nathan, I love that he decided that he loved the team, and Tree Hill more than himself for this game. It didn't hurt that the loan shark dudes were all like, 'We fucked up, we thought he was gonna be like you Dan. Turns out he's a good, decent human.' But his conscience is gonna be eating away at him for winning the game after the cost.

If Dan goes to jail for Nathan, he'll be like 2% of the way to making up for all the horrible shit he's done. I've yet to forgive him. And don't plan to. BUT I do think it might be possible in by the end of the series, which is something I've never thought before.

Lucas, I also think is will be fine. Sure, he's dead and all, but I imagine it'll be easier to get him in better shape than Haley. And for as many times as I was sure he was gonna pass out on the court, this was so much worse.

Somehow, Brooke seems totally cool with Lucas and Peyton getting back together. It was actually her who encouraged them to get back together. And she was the one who told Peyton Lucas as in the hospital. And seemed seriously concerned about her because of it.

Fuck Rachel.

I have been waiting for you to get to this episode Dana...this one and the next one go together, and the next one, episode 4x10 aired as the midseason finale before winter hiatus that season. Most fans put this one up there as one of their all-time favorites of not only S4 but perhaps the entire series. It was that impactful as the show had been building up to it for 4 years, and the consequences and ramifications were huge. The announcer that you hear at the beginning stating that the Ravens lost the championship was actually from 18 years earlier when Dan was a senior on the team, and they were playing for the state title and Dan walked away from the game and his teammates over a dispute with Whitey that they've alluded to over the years during the previous seasons. Whitey pauses the tape during halftime as he's trying to get the current teams attention by proving that playing selfish and bickering with your teammates will stick with you for a lifetime if you go out that way, and you realize that it's still the same announcer that was announcing the games way back then and is still doing the current Ravens games....so it was pretty brilliantly done. I guess it fooled you too with them going back and forth between the games, hehe!!! And how awesome was it that this time around they won the game running the exact same play that they lost the first round of the playoffs from back in S1. Like I said...4 years in the making, and that's why it was so emotional. Who would have ever guessed way back then.... that all of this would be on the line now, hehe, simply amazing!!! Then we get back to Naley as Nathan is coming out of the locker room and Haley's waiting for him and she tells him that he's going to have a son, and suddenly everything changes for him. He goes out on fire during the second half of the game, willing his teammates to victory, so as to not let down his family. That's Nathan Scott for you. Loved that moment for them btw...that's such an epic and golden moment for sure when Haley tells Nathan he's going to have a son and the two of them are beaming with so much pride and giddiness over the news.... you can't help but melt at their immense joy over their unborn son. And at that age, you wouldn't have the forthright to foresee that by him defying Danute's orders of not throwing the game...that it would end up putting Haley and their baby's life in peril. He just assumes that it's all going to fall back on him.... that's why he told Lucas he'll take whatever Daunte does to him.... never thinking for one minute that Haley and the baby could be at risk. And btw.... Haley pushing Nathan out of the way of the car that was meant for him...is epic. Talk about true love indeed.... but poor Haley......eeekk. Between Haley getting run down, Lucas going into cardiac arrest, Deb back in rehab, and Dan appearing to take the blame, you're right to question how much more can Nathan take, and what will become of him if the worst happens? We all know that Nathan will never forgive himself if something happens to Haley and/or the baby, so stay tuned!!!!
