Hiya Patrons!! Long time no chat!!

I've been out of town for the past week, first in back home to Minnesota for my Cosplay Melee party (woot woot!!) and then Anime Matsuri in Houston TX!

Anime Matsuri was a lot of fun, although my luggage got lost and I had none of my costumes all weekend! I was to premiere my new Viktor Nikiforov at the con (I just wanted something casual and fun and Viktor is one of my favorite characters in existence!) but alas, you guys get to see it here instead!

I love Viktor so much you guys ;____;

Let's talk about writers' block, or being in a cosplay rut!

You know how Facebook has those "flashback' posts from your history? Around this time every year I make posts about giving up on cosplay. I don't know what it is about March/April but this time of year I usually sell costumes, or nearly give up entirely on doing cosplay regularly! I can't even begin to explain why!

Right now I'm going through a break up, just moved across the country and am still adjusting, and money is tight. It makes creativity HARD to muster. It makes it hard to go out and keep doing things. All I want to do is lay in bed all day and read stupid FFXV fanfiction. BUT you know what I'm going to do instead?! I'm gonna WORK HARDER. I'm gonna PUSH MYSELF. I'm gonna KEEP GOING. I have so many opportunities and adventures ahead, I just need to keep trying! Right?!!?

I love you guys! I think we'll have our Google Hangout next weekend, and I'm going to push myself to get all caught up so I can create new content. I really want to focus on my strengths! I've had a lot of people ask for a wing tutorial like what I made on Cosplay Melee (which is cheap, easy, and quick!) so I'll be doing that soon as well as get going on Maleficent and maybe a few other side cosplays!
