Hello,Patrons! First off, I need a better title for you guys than just ‘patrons’! I know each reward tier has craft-related names (Craft Foam, Pleather, Resin, etc.) but I feel ‘patrons’ is kinda drab for how cool you guys are! Please help me brainstorm a cool name to call this awesome community!

Okay!

So here’s a rundown of the next month, so that you know what you’ve gotten yourself into:

I’m crazy about wigs!! I’m still very much a newbie to the wig-styling world. (I had never cut hair before my cosplay endeavors) but even still, I felt it would be fun to enter the Arda Wig Iron Wig competition! Right now, I’m in the second round of the contest, and within the next week, I need to make a Marie Antoinette pouf with the wigs they sent us!

Even if you’re not a fan of wigs, you might be a fan of the character that has inspired my design :D I’ll be doing a timelapse of my wig progress, and a tutorial on how to make accessories out of hair!

You can see the rules and info here, if you're interested:

C2E2

My first convention of the month is C2E2 in Chicago, IL, March 18th-20th! I've never been before and am just going for fun! Hopefully I get to meet some of you there!

What I'll be bringing:

I've been planning on making a Dark Brotherhood Assassin from Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for THREE YEARS NOW. I've literally had the fabric in my fabric bin since October 2012. Skyrim is one of if not my favorite game of all time.

The Bow I've created for this cosplay is the Nightingale Bow:

I'll be doing mostly highly-detailed text/image blog posts for this cosplay a la Angela Clayton's Blog (if you like sewing and pretty gowns, you should definitely follow her work!). This cosplay involves a lot of sewing, which is hard to do with timelapse videos due to all of the moving around the room from station to station!

My second cosplay for C2E2 is Sylvanas! As some of you might know, Sylvanas is a dream cosplay of mine. I've wanted to cosplay her since before I played WoW or any Warcraft games or knew who she was!

I'll be making a timelapse video

of my progress, and hope to break down my horrid painting techniques so you can see what even a horrible painter can do to make their armor look cool!

Wondercon

Wondercon will be my second convention of the month, March 25th-27th in Los Angeles California! I'll be there with my friends at That Cosplay Show, guest-interviewing for them on Sunday of the con!

On Saturday, though I'll be bringing Jasmine:

I'm a big fan of Wood Splitter Lee Crossand want to attempt (and probably fail) at making a Rajah baby tiger that looks like one of her beautiful creations, and would love to show progress of it:

I know a lot of you might be excited for theexclusive photoshootif you're a "Pleather" patron or above! I actually did a boudoir shoot at Katsucon afterMissyerutalked me into it, and am waiting on the photos from the photographer! Here's a teaser photo we took on my iPhone after I took my pointe shoes off!

Last but not least, I'll be making a Blade of Woe for my Skyrim cosplay, and all patrons "Craft Foam" and above will get a chance to win one of your own in the giveaway!!:

PHEW!!! That was a long post! I apologize! I have a lot planned for you guys! AND THAT'S NOT EVEN ALL! In between all this cosplay progress, I have blog posts planned mostly talking about budgeting your cosplay and how to be thrifty :D

Let me know what you think!!
