Final Notice: The Sims 4 Eco Living pre-patch is coming! What you need to know. (Patreon)

Greetings everyone!

The next sims 4 expansion is just around the corner, expecting to hit computers everywhere on June 5th with a pre-patch occurring on June 3nd. Expansions usually break mods, it’s rare that they don’t and this one is bringing with it so many changes to the game including alterations to bills, the inventory system, objects, door and window placement, tons of career changes (particularly to politicians and firefighters) and more, that I’d be amazed if it doesn’t break the majority of script mods like this one, WW and BMD. There are two updates to be concerned about, the one which breaks the most mods happens during the pre-patch which is released prior to the expansion, then the proper expansion coming a few days later.

Next week I will be working hard to patch my mod along with your other favorite modders. It’s impossible for us to predict how much of our mods will be ruined or how long it will take to patch. So, if you plan on playing modded sims next week then please Disable Automatic Game Updates in Origin and go offline. (Origin in the upper left -> application settings -> disable automatic game updates, then origin tab again and hit ‘go offline’).

I’ll also be silently updating this post as progress on the June 3nd pre-patch and the June 5th patch is being made to help keep everyone in the loop. As always, to attain more detailed information about patch status please feel free to join our discord by linking your Patreon account to your Discord account [requires that you are a Patron to join]. Keep in mind that since my mod relies on both WW and BMD to function, I will take longer than them to patch as I may need to make additional patches depending on what they patch and I'll need their patches before I can fully debug my mod in game.

Eco Living Pre-Patch Status[patches out]:

  • Eco Living Patreon Pre-Patch Hotpatch now live for Patrons.
  • Eco Living LL Pre-Patch hotpatch now live!

Eco Living Expansion Pack Patch Status:

  • Expansion Released
  • No new hotpatch needed to run the expansion with my mod but...
  • If you haven't installed the pre-patch yet then you may want to wait. There is a very nasty base game bug going around right now which is corrupting saves. I haven't been effected but others have lost literally all their saves. I suggest backing up your saves now (located in The Sims 4/saves folder).

I am not starting Sims 4 without this mod, WW or BMD. Not a chance in hell. Yes I'll likely buy the new expansion right away but I'm willing to wait for the 3 essential mods to update. A week or two if need be.

Thank you for your support megg! I heard this from a few people but I haven't seen it happen to my game yet. I haven't heard any problems from installing it. Notice to others reading this, this is prior to June 1st (I'd go offline on June 1st just to be safe).

I have already turned off automatic updates (Learned this the hard way from one of the last updates🤦🏻‍♀️) I’m just gonna wait I’d rather not screw anything up, it’s definitely not the same without the mods! Thank you for your response and all your hard work, hope you are well!

It's dynamically decided based on the wealth of your world relative to your household and the appearance and traits of the sim. If you started a new game to test the new eco-living changes, then that's probably why it's so low!

Hey Arclight! That's correct! for patches, I update previous posts instead of making new posts, you can see the most recent changelog at the top of the post which is dated. Typically only new content updates get entire new posts. You should also get an email notification about the edited post if your notifications are turned on.

Yes there is! It's 2.1.7c and you can find it in the last content post. For hotpatches, I typically don't like to make brand new posts for them as, depending on how much WW updates in a month) I may need to release lots of hotfixes. Typically only new content updates get new posts.

Hello, I am using the new version of the mod, and there are a lot of errors happening in my game, the ones I had mentioned before. I managed to solve part of them, but now the sims do not work automatically, it gives an error saying that it was not possible to find a suitable place. I downloaded the Better Exceptions mod and it got this message: Possible cause: NisaWickedPerversion - exception when applying action for loot (AtrributError: NoneType object has no attribute geometry. How could I resolve these errors? What can I do? Thank you.

Hello! I just downloaded WW v155i & your LL 2_6b and I was wondering if it was now alright to update my game? I do also have the most recent version of basemental drugs if that matters at all. I'm just curious because I see on here that there's now 2.1.7c and I want to be absolutely certian before I update so that none of my saves or anything like that breaks. Thank you so much!

It's at your own risk currently. Not even accounting for mods, Maxis broke a tone of things in the base game and more patches will be needed from maxis to fix everything which is broken. That said, if you luck out and don't experience any maxis bugs, my mod is working pretty well with the new update minus debt collections (which I've been investigating all day today).

Is there a way to disable the effects on the face and body of sims that have the "sexually tight" streak? (I don’t know if this is the literal translation of the mod in English) I’ve already disabled crying for the settings but I wanted to remove the red that is on the body, face and something white that is around the mouth of the sims. Hey since the last update I haven't been having any 'date' requests when you go to wherever the clients are I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or anything. I'm tired of my sims husband saying I'm cheating because of them always coming to the house lol

ever since the EA update my sim girl dont get calls. i have the latest version on here, latest patreon of WW, KW, basemental, shes registered and shows she is on the lost eden site and on her phone under tam tab. what am i doing wrong? im not getting errors just not getting anything. before my girl got Calls back to back. i have done fresh install of all the mods also

At this time there is not a way to completely disable the body effects of Sensually Tight. You would need to make another mod to override the textures of Sensually Tight with a blank texture.

Hello Gemma, thank you for your support. What do you mean by date request? Like calls from the escort call center? normal client calls (that have the come here, or go there dialog), or sims coming up to solicit your sim through the slutting outfit, or sims soliciting your prostitutes who are also strippers at strip clubs? If you are getting any Last Exceptions, please send them my way. Also you can try testing with just WW, BMD, MCC, and my mod installed to rule out conflicts with other mods.

Hey Jonatas! The LE doesn't look familiar to me, something glitching with clay blob associated animations. Is it spawning clay constantly? It looks like an EA error, either a animation error or the clay spawning error. You may have to wait for a maxis patch.

Hi I've completely lost the tam explorer from my computer. Everything else works fine. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the latest expansion pack, but now I'm not so sure. I've tried everything, but it's just not happening.

Hi ive been having problems with prostiution in the strip club mod from wicked whims where npcs just walk in even if they are not prostitution clients. So the "prostitution room" just ends up being swamped with every one even the bar tender employee.

Hey Amy!!! thank you for your support! I'm sorry about the late reply, yesterday I was offline. Usually this happens because my files are placed too deeply in the mods folder, but it can also be another mod breaking in such a way that it snowballs and breaks other mods. Double check the file depth for my package and script file, if that checks out then next I suggest trying with a minimal install. Just WW, MCC, BMD, and my mod. If that works then you will need to do the 50/50 method to track down which mod is breaking my mod! Also let me know if you are receiving any Last Exception files!!!

Ksuihuh Adult Entertainmend Mod Vs. Nisas Wicked Perversion. I found a little conflict if you have both installed. While Using Ksuihuhs Home Video Camera to make a home video. They are Marked as "Undefinded Video" insteat of what they are. This affect happen only while your played female Sims wears the Clit Ring from Nisas Wicked Perversion. Personally I can live with this, because while "Filming" they can be taken of and whit some Cheating, the negative Buff of disattaching the piercing can be removed. But it would be fine if you find a solution for this.

Hi Nisa, you have to place a camera called "vivux 3000" in the same room where the action is. Click on the camera and choos start recording. After the sceen is recordet. go to the camera again and choose stop recording. After this steps the Video is stored in the sub inventory of the camera. you can use a option to transer it to the video station. While recording you get a buff called "Recoring in Progress"

Thank you for all your support rustyst!!! This one hasn't been asked in a really long time!!! You should be able to do it by going to the tam explorer found on any computer then the settings menu, then beauty settings and finally disable tattoos. Don't hesitate if you have any more questions!!!

You went to settings->Beauty Settings->Body Tattoos->Disable and it didn't remove the red bands? I just tested it in my game and it worked as it should. Are you getting any Last Exceptions? Maybe try testing with a minimal install. Move your mods folder to a temporary location somewhere on your computer and try testing with just MCC, WW, BMD, and my mod. Very strange that it's not working for you.

Hey An77! Thank you for your support! Like a homeless system? If so then not really. For youth, Patreon bans nsfw teen content, as for runaway, being homeless doesn't sound like it has many perversions to it. I think it would be neat to have mechanics to support gameplay centered around homelessness but I like working on nsfw content :D

Hello, since the last update I can't use the mod anymore. I put it to the initial sex automatically, but even if there are places available there is an error that it was not possible to find a place to start the interaction, I already tried it by room, by style, yet nothing changes. What can I do to make it work? Is it not possible in a future update to allow sims to start on their own in any location or object? Thanks. Thank you for the LE's T Watt!!! This error says that my mod can't find the Wicked Whims scripts. Make sure you don't have duplicate versions of my mod or WW installed. If you do then please remove them all and reinstall the latest version of the mod. Otherwise it may be something is breaking WW. Try to test with a minimal install. So with only WW, BMD, and my mod installed. If it works then, then something is breaking WW and you'll need to do the 50/50 method to figure out what mod that is.

Hey Jonatas! Thank you for your support and I'm sorry for the late reply! The LE is a bit of a unknown one, it may be from WW but it might also be due to base game animations breaking because of weird object placement (usually from using build cheats to make houses). For example, I've seen badly placed bookshelves in the past cause an LE like this one. As for the auto sex system failing to start, could it be because you have children on the lot? Sex won't start if there are kids around. You said it didn't give you a specific reason right?

Hello, I'm sure there are no children around, the lot is totally restricted. When I choose a room or some style, for example public, the automatic interaction flows for a while and the sims are able to use the locations, but after a while, the message that there is no available space appears, and nothing has been changed . He says I need to help manually, but this happens all the time and it is very annoying to have to help when there is already this automatic option. I would like to know if this could not be improved in any update, because at least for me it has not worked, it works for a short time. or if I'm really doing something wrong, because I've tried everything, all styles, all types of rooms. :(

My suggestion is just a trait that could be added to some sims by CAS as with others already created. It would be a similar trait to the existing one, but it would apply to maculine sims. A trait for example that that sim has a genital organ larger than the others, when having sex with other sims this could cause a moddlet in the other sims of discomfort or happiness depending on the case. This would apply unlike the sexually tight trait that already exists and could cause moddlets on all sims. just a suggestion, it may sound silly but it would be nice to add it to the mod. Don't worry I understand! Thank you for your continued support! This is actually one of the more common suggestions I receive, but a trait for penis size I think would be better supported by TURBO (creator of WW) than by me as right now big penises don't really work well with many WW animations. However, other things are a possibility in the future. Including but not limited too, demon dicks and honey dicks (a sort of male counterpart to the phenomenal flower trait). I've also been learning how to make meshes so a custom penis to go along with some effects is a strong possibility in the future.

Yes, in this case, what I suggest does not really refer to the size of the organ of the sims, but just a trait in the CAS that would influence other sims that have a relationship with them. This of course does not mean changing or not the size of the sims dick. Thanks for answering ;D
