Will it? won't it? It looked done, but now looks as far away as ever... but could it all be done behind the scenes and we just don't know it?

United fan and Patreon Chris Church joins James for a discussion on the ownership of Manchester United, why most fans are desperate for anything but the Glazers as owners.

The pros and cons of prospective bids from INEOS and Qatar are debated, there's reasoning for why the Glazers may have wanted to sell but now might not and there's also chat on the potential redevelopment of Old Trafford.

Good discussion, cheers guys. As a United fan based in Manchester, I have a different view to Chris on the takeover. I would certainly prefer the status quo to a Qatari takeover. I would probably walk away from united if it goes through (if I’m strong enough). Great point that James made, we don’t need Qatari money unlike the other clubs backed by state wealth. On the stadium, it doesn’t bother me too much personally but certainly indicative of the Glazer era decline.
