It’s time for a new chapter in the Schmoedown history books, because Brianne Chandler – celebrated Schmoedown competitor and Free-For-All champion – is stepping down from her position as our Patreon manager.
Brianne Chandler’s last day in the position was January 7, 2018. Her responsibilities – including (but not limited to) Patreon rewards and exclusive content – have been taken over by Emma Fyffe, manager of the Fyffe Club and one of the Schmoedown’s two new commissioners (the identity of the second commissioner is still unknown).
We have an official statement from Brianne Chandler about her departure.
Dear Schmoedown Patrons,
I wanted to let you know that January 7th was my last day as the Movie Trivia Schmoedown Patreon manager. Bringing the Patreon to life for the Schmoedown and keeping the lights on for the show was an ambitious and rewarding job that tested me in ways I wasn’t expecting. I have learned a lot about you, the patrons, and I have felt closer to the community because of our Patreon.
Deciding to step back from the role I originated as manager has proved difficult. However, I have some family business that needs attending to and I know it would be too challenging to juggle both.
I am thankful that I had this time with you and I know you will be in good hands going forward with Emma Fyffe leading the charge.
Hopefully you will still see me call a match here or there in season 6, but in case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
Sincerely,
Brianne
Speaking to TriviaSD.com, Brianne Chandler added that her future as a Schmoedown competitor is “uncertain,“ and that she “won’t be competing in singles but I am leaving the door open for teams.”
“However,“ Chandler added. “I would still love to be involved in any exhibition matches that seem like a good fit for me.”
Everyone at the Movie Trivia Schmoedown wishes Brianne Chandler the best for all her future endeavors, personal and professional, and we hope to see her again at the Schmoedown very soon!
And we all offer Emma Fyffe our heartfelt congratulations, as well as the best of luck and the utmost success at her new job!
