Star Wars live event was amazing and Samm becoming double champ xD So thankful with the work you do with this, helped me go through some hard health time, happy I can repay with this... And you guys give patreons rewards!

Jon Nelson

The 5 Horsemen Reveal was the best!

schmoedown

Mike worked his butt off to win that title! You should see his Harry Potter infographics.

schmoedown

I am so glad we were able to add some positivity when you were going through a tough time! Also Samm is a legend. One of the first inductees to the Schmoedown Hall of Fame for sure!

My favorite was the horror patreon match. It was not only a great match but it was the one that really got my wife hooked. She requested that I move to the 10 dollar tier from the 5 dollar just to see it early.

The Outlaws journey was incredible, with all the highs and lows, his passion for the game is admirable....The 5 Horseman, the Rookie class,All the Main Events were great!...thought the shake up that was Anarky was so much fun with Who's the Boss being the team I never knew I wanted until I had it...I hope that Ben Bateman becomes a Horseman.... season 5 of the Schmoedown was incredible and can't wait to see what is in store for season 6...Keep up the great work!!!

Ah that Rocha - you just can't keep him down. Also YES to "Who's the Boss?"! Definitely an odd couple, but turned out to have super complimentary knowledge.

The five horseman reveal was pretty epic capped off with Rocha pulling of Dan's hood! I'm proud to be a contributor and am excited to see the growth of the league in 2019!

When The Android beat The Boss was the highlight for me.

So many great moments but I think my favorite of all time was Wolfe's progress through the Ultimate Schmoedown. She was almost champion, damn those pronouns!

Least favorite: The Lions Den breakup! :'(

Post interview with the Founding Fathers! So emotional

I don't know if it counts as a moment, but that Sudden Death for Mara vs. Rachel. My goodness. I really freaking hope it's Match of the Year. Imagine two elite boxers getting in the ring together, and they BOTH have a broken rib. And they're still going at it, throwing haymakers, getting knocked down, spitting out blood and getting right back up. That match was everything. EVERYTHING. It's top 5 all time for me. Let's hear it for the f**king ladies!

The Shirewolves victory was the shit!!!!!

But Mara vs Rachel was the match of the millennium

Congratulations on your and our 1 year Anniversary! Picking a favorite moment is actually hard, since there have been many. But I will choose one that doesn't involve the players...in a manner of speaking. My favorite moment is being able to BE A PATRON! All fans, regardless of what they're into, want to be a part of what they love, and more so, feel like they're actually contributing too it. As an example, I've been a 23yr Metallica Fan Club member. When they had yearly dues, that money went to the So What Magazine, where the band members would write articles, have pages of special interviews, contests to win goodies, a special Fan Club Shirt, and more. It was their way of giving back to us who support them. When Kristain announced the Patreon was coming, I wanted in! But because of the limited income I get, I had to make choices. I go to the movies only to see what I love. So I QUIT Movie Pass because being able to go to the movies multiple times a week is great, but add in their BS, I said screw em! So I took that money and gave it to the Schmoedown to show my support because I believe in it, in every competitor, and especially Kristian and Markt! I watch the Schmoedown twice a week, Share it like crazy on twitter and FB, tell my friends, family, friends i play online with on the PS4, and some of them have watched it, love it and now subscribe too it. I am thoroughly entertained, enjoy the people in it etc, twice a week, sometimes more when I go back and re-watch matches from years ago! So THAT is my favorite moment! Being able to support something I love and am 100% behind! THANK YOU KRISTIAN, MARK, Every competitor, interviewer, web site and FB Admin....Keep up the excellent work that you've been doing, and I, and the others, cannot wait for what is in store for us, and the competitors this year, as this year is going to be FK'N EPIC! (See ya next week in NY!!!!)

I always think of the Rocha vs Mantz feud as a highlight, Besbin is still a dark cloud that hangs over Rocha’s head.

Thank you SO much for this lovely post. You really nailed what being a patron is all about–being part of a community that comes together to celebrate something we all love. We want to keep that feeling going into 2019 and beyond!

I know this is a 2017 memory, not 2018, but I will explain at the end. We were on our 10th day of no electricity, no internet and no cell service in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. We were all safe, but exhausted from all the clean-up of debris and damage during the day and being unable to sleep at night in the stifling, oppressive south Florida heat. Our moods were shot from eating lousy (canned) food, and our nerves were raw from experiencing the total lack of normalcy everywhere we turned. Finally, a relative's home was restored with power and they invited us (my husband, son, dog, and I) – (our lucky daughter was away at college in Wake Forest) to stay in their family room for the night. We were thrilled to find out that not just power, but also Internet services were working in their neighborhood. We opened up our computer and decided to take a much needed escape into the world of Schmoedown... It was just exactly what we all needed. We had a lot of catching up to do. We screamed and cheered watching the Ultimate Schmoedown Team semi finals-- our favorites, ATLine scored the points record in an exciting defeat of Wolves of Steel; then it was the ultimate smack talking Team Action defeat of Top10; we were cracking up with Matt Iseman “in the booth” with every question. Finally, we watched the Singles Title Match, the culmination of Harloff’s Revenge Tour as he beat Murrell for the Champ Belt. We were so happy for Kristian's win; but of course, what a downer as Dan announced his retirement. This night was MTS at its very finest. We will never forget how something finally lifted our spirits, had us laughing, had us crying, and had us celebrating, in the hurricane’s aftermath. So when the Patreon opportunity was announced….how could we not? So, here, this is the BEST part of 2018 -> that we had the opportunity and joy to give back to something, which has given us so very much more. So, MTS Happy Anniversary and Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. : )

Mara winning the belt.

Seeing the Shirewolves dominate all their matches to win the belt and then defend at Spectacular meant a lot to me. I've been listening/watching a lot of Collider and SJU content over the past few years and it always saddened me to hear stories from many of the women in this space about anonymous online stalking or harassment they've had to suffer through as well as in-person harassment from people they've had to work with and this somehow felt like a win against that. I've also listened to any podcasts Clarke and Rachel have done or guested on, and as a woman in an industry that's male dominated at the management level, I've related to their personal stories of struggle and triumph. No matter what the outcome of the matches are next season, to me the Shirewolves are winners and have already shown they're the best by beating the best. Thanks to everyone at Schmoedown for creating something that feels a lot more personal than a movie trivia Youtube show and good luck for the new season :)

It meant a lot to me too. I am so proud of everything those ladies have accomplished together. When women work together instead of against one another, as society would like us to do, we can achieve anything. -Emma :-)

Thank you so much for sharing this great story! It means so much to us to hear what a positive impact our show has on people’s lives.

Hi! I am so late, just saw this message a week later but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved in the schmoedown, any one who makes it possible, from the competitors, to the editors, to all of the patreons. This show has helped me so so much, as someone who has several mental illnesses, the schmoedown has actually helped me distract myself from anxiety episodes and literally has gotten me out of bed in many times during depressive episodes. So my favorite memory of 2018 was being introduced into the Schmoedown Universe, but a very close one would be Who's The Boss vs. Shirewolves. (imo the best match I've ever seen) Thank you again everyone, I'm so glad to have joined this community!
