What wild way to start off season 3! The ending of this episode had us so amped up 😂 Levi yelling KENNYYYYY will forever be living in our heads. We are seriously so excited to be heading into this season... Can't wait for more!

So excited for the reaction to this season!! The style change is because they revised the character models for this season (they wanted to pull it closer to the manga look). It makes everyone look a little more refined and older.

Enter Kenny the Ripper, some people really disliked the first half of S3 but I've always loved it. It sets a changing point in how the writing and dialogue presents itself and really sets a precedent for the series going forward

when we say this show just keeps on getting better and better we truly mean it, trust me, what you are seeing right now is childs play compared to the insanity of whats to come. you will look back on season 1 and 2 as the good old days because season 3 and 4 are true masterpieces

Maybe it's a controversial opinion, but season 4 is in my opinion the worst one aside from season 1 part 2. And I'm not saying season 4 is terrible, it has a lot of awesome moments just as the rest and was cool to watch. But personally I liked season 1-3 better, even tho season 4 might have aimed higher with the writing. If you ask me, season 2 and season 3 part 2 are the best chunks of the show.

They haven't forgot about the basement btw, but it's in Erens hometown, which is attached to the outermost wall. And since that wall is still broken, the basement is deep in titan territory still. Basically it's hard to get to, hence why they're focusing on fixing the wall first so they don't have to go to it while titan territory surrounds it from every direction for miles.

Fun fact btw, Hange doesn't have a confirmed gender according to the author. And while the anime exclusively refer to them as "she", any pronouns (he, she they etc) are correct. :) Basically it's up for interpretation.

Witnessed people fall off during this first arc of season 3 cause it seems to stear completely to a different direction than expected but trust the process it's all necessary for part two of season 3, one of the greatest arcs of anime history.

I like how the show can make a fun thing with the Armin and Krista without neglecting the actually trauma for Armin later on In many anime you would see the gag and that is it but here you see Armin being real upset about it.. love this show Also this season I fully expect tears!

And that mid-credit scene was made ONLY to tease what was to come next in S3P2 since, at the time, viewers had to wait 6 months for the continuation. Since they’re binging the whole season, there’s literally NO POINT in watching it!! Even out of context, it spoils what’s to come. So quit trying to make them watch it.

The most bizarre part of the series by far is Armin getting SA'd. I remember the manga has some extra panels where the kidnapper tells Armin he used to be normal, he wasn't like that but Armin "changed" him, and also another panel of the boys consoling Armin lmao

when they said they were the knew members of levi squad eren was remembering levi old squad, but it was in the manga it wasn’t animated i wish they did tho. their deaths affected him he wants to save everyone but he can’t.
