Yessss moving on to my second favorite season next!!! Each one gets better. I loved that little moment between Eren and Mikasa where he says that about her scarf. 😭 Such a great callback to their first meeting. And I always get goosebumps at the end of the episode when Erwin’s talking and we’re flying across the land and the epic music is playing…SO SO GOOD.

Glad to see you finish season 2! Looking forward to season 3! Also, seeing how you guys love the music, maybe you could look into doing a reaction to all the openings and endings for each season when you're done the show? I can't remember if/which openings and endings contain spoilers

This is my first time rewatching the show and it's so fun to see what all I missed I was surprised how smart Ymir was in this episode: she was constantly and astutely evaluating which side held the advantage and I felt it perfectly humanized her to trust the Scouts with Historia's protection while risking her own life to save Reiner and Bertie Looking forward to Season three (:

Fun fact for you two. In the manga originally the creator of AoT/ SnK was supposed to have Mikasa kiss Eren. But the creator, Hajime Isayama, didn't know how to draw two people kissing. So he just...... skipped it lol. It's why Eren kinda just curved her at the end lmao

2024-02-19 17:40:13 The Beast Titan is sitting ontop of Wall Maria. Sina is the inner wall, then Rose, which is where Trost is. There's a big expanse between Rose and Maria that is filled with Titans, then the Beast was sitting on top of that wall. That's where Eren etc.'s goal is to go, back to the wall and to the basement. Also, about Eren "controlling" the titans, I won't spoil anything but pay attention to how this happened because it makes perfect sense, however you won't find out until near the end of the following season. Hope you enjoy season 3!

The best thing about this show, is how much it improves on a rewatch. I highly recommend someday if you have time, to rewatch this show. Like the last 3 episodes or so, are borderline nonsense for first time viewers, but for rewatchers, it's mind blowing seeing how meticulously planned the series is, and how many easter eggs there are for things to come. This is like my 4th time rewatching the show, and i'm still finding little bits and pieces I missed my first time.

So couple quick things heading into S3. Just like S1 it's split into 2 arcs. You're good to watch the opening for the first part of the season but I would def recommend you not watch the 2nd opening until E 19/20...too many spoilers. Also, if nobody's mentioned it already, you'll really want to watch episodes 16,17,& 18 all at once to get the full experience of the moment. S4 has 2 sets of these "trilogy" like episodes too. This story is amazing and so well written that you constantly feel conflicted about who to root for. It does such a great job of blurring the line between good and evil and instead gets you to focus on the perspective and experiences behind each character to better understand why they act the way they do. Even after the big reveal of Bert and Reiner as the Titans that broke the wall & started all the death and chaos you were still hoping they make it out alive at the end of that episode. Can't wait to start S3 and watch your mind's get blown away even more as the story starts to piece together!!

Not sure if anybody's recommended it but if you like the music, I HIGHLY recommend you watch The Attack On Titan Suite on Youtube. Hiroyuki Sawano, the composer of the music, plays the piano in that video. Just don't read the comments on the video because as you can imagine it's spoiler central lol
