Gotta do We Stand Alone Together. It’s is basically mandatory after finishing BoB.😂

Glad to see you guys make it to the end! Do you plan on reacting to the “We Stand Alone Together” documentary? It gives you the chance to hear the stories told by the men of Easy company themselves and is a PERFECT epilogue to the series

Offinova

We stand alone is a must when watching this. Great reaction for the series other than that input :)

I agree the little "11th episode" is 100% worth the watch. But I also think that Ron Livingstons video journal on youtube about the little boot camp that the actors went too is also a great little watch. Its a nice lighthearted end to the series to see the actors growing as well!

You should watch the Pacific it’s by the same people who made band of brothers

Andrew

Do you guys plan to do more live action stuff like this and the last of us etc? I understand the anime shows are a staple but they aren't for me.

This show is an epic journey through WWII that was truly portrayed so beautifully. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are big WWII buffs and wanted to get as real as possible with this series. Before this, they did Saving Private Ryan, which is an amazing movie as well. Definitely recommended. Glad we were able to be a part of your journey through this series and more!

Really enjoyed watching along with you. Just one note the house that had all of the liquor in it belonged to Hermann Goring, who was a high ranking officer in the Nazi Party and was also the head of the German Air Force. In addition to the liquor they found priceless art that had been stolen from countries that Germany had overrun and taken back to Germany for private art collections.....as others have said, I do hope you watch "We Stand Alone" which is where the interviews come from. There are many more interviews and stories that you may enjoy.

Random fact, Winters actually kept the gun the German colonel offered him. Later he inspected it and found the gun had never been fired. Winters liked the idea that the gun symbolized peace because it was never used. He never once used the gun for the rest of his life.

Absolutely loved watching with y’all I’ve seen this series more times than I can count lol but it’s so refreshing to see younger people take a real interest in this type of series! I know there other comments but I would also suggest the documentary of easy company “we stand alone together”

Rob

Hermann Göring was Hitler's air marshal and at one point his equivalent of a Vice President. He was a World War I ace. He was top five in Germany during that war, behind the Richtofen brothers. Manfred von Richthofen was Germany's top WWI ace, better known as The Red Baron.

If i may suggest, yals gotta watch "Yellowstone" starring Kevin Costner. Ya won't regret it. Ups to yal tho

Watching y'all's reactions to this was an awesome journey! I watch this show at the beginning of every year, and try to watch one channel's reaction to it afterwards, and y'all have definitely been the best ones! - From the episode, The private who shot Sgt Grant was Pvt Floyd Carver. He shot Sgt Grant, a British officer, a British Sgt, and a German officer. They found him... assaulting... an Austrian woman in a barn. After Spiers and Easy Company beat him, they turned him over to the Military Police, who also beat him. Despite that, Spiers's commanders stated that had Spiers shot him, they wouldn't have punished him for it. Pvt Carver ended up avoiding jail time, living a life of petty crime in Eastern USA, and died in the 60s during another drunk driving incident. - The ending with Major Winters quote about serving in a company of heroes is, in my opinion, the most powerful quote of the entire series, and it was a sentiment that was echoed a lot by many of officers who taught us at the Naval Academy and who had served in the war on terror. The "for he who sheds his blood with me shall be my brother" speech is also very prominent in the military, and we were required to be able to recite the entire thing verbatim as freshmen at Navy, and I believe at West Point they have to memorize it as well. Importantly though, Major Winters is still truly a hallowed legend within the military and the all the federal military service Academies. His story was taught in our ethics and military leadership classes as how to be the model officer, even though we were Navy/Marine Corps and he was Army, because he is still that widely respected and honored within the entirety of the military. -I'm sure that after watching this amazing and powerful series, you might need some time off from these types of shows, but when you're able, I really do hope you consider watching The Pacific. Here's the trailer from Warner Bros (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1fXW-dU1Cc&pp=ygUTdGhlIHBhY2lmaWMgdHJhaWxlcg%3D%3D). I commented about this show on an older video, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention it again, as it would be an amazing journey as well, following the Marines in the pacific theater of war and their journey of hardship and heroics. While BOB follows men of the 101st Airborne, arguably the army's most famous unit, The Pacific follows the pride of the Marine Corps, the men of the 1st Marine Division. If you've seen a marine in film/television, there's a good chance they were 1st MarDiv, because that unit is so legendary, and is the only division that has a unique patch on their uniforms which represents their service shown in The Pacific (a blue diamond with a big 1 that says Guadacanal). That, and the opening theme of The Pacific GOES HARD. So moving. Also as others said, "We Stand Alone Together," which is more of a doc about the men of Easy Company and accompanied Band of Brothers is an amazing watch. It includes longer versions of the interviews you see at the beginnings of each episode, and includes even more men from Easy Company, like getting to see Bull Randlemann talk about his time in the war

"We salute the rank, not the man."

Arioch

I'm sure many will say the same thing, but I'll add my voice to that. The documentary is essentially the 11th episode; it's more of the conversations with the veterans, and it's very good.

adamisajoker .

If you're open to watching foreign war movies I highly recommend My Way. It's also based on a true story.

Mike

Thanks for watching & sharing BoB. Hope you'll watch the "Stand Alone Together" documentary. No trauma, more interviews & the reunions w/ the men.

Mike

"The Pacific", it great, but from how BoB affected you, I wouldn't suggest it at least for a yr. It's far more brutal & dark. I'd certainly read Abt the Pacific war to appreciate their sacrifice, but I'd not watch it at least not yet.

Art

Amazing series and amazing reactions. Can't wait for more

Chris Rawson

Loved the reaction, just to add my voice for you to both watch " We Stand alone together ", which is essentially episode 11, and contains a lot more of the the interviews with the real men ..

Haylo

Totally understand, and yes we will keep at least one live-action show going each week! Our next live-action will be Haunting Of Hill House.

Rick Runge

Definitely don't wait to watch the Pacific. Not too long atleast.

Alorian

As i said in the poll, its quite a life changing series.

Connor

would really suggest the Pacific
