The first time I saw this particular episode I fell in love with Nanami's character, and the complexity with which he was written - his speech about life's little disappointments lol. Most people simp for Gojo, but Nanami's my favourite character in JJK I love the explanation the writer gives towards potential grade special apparitions, referring to the fairy tale book, very intelligent writing. I love how they dont outright explain stuff from the get go, they give tidbits here and there and you have to put it together, I prefer that much more than just straight up exposition or explanation The actor that voices Nanami is honestly one of my favourites, he's very prolific, and has one of the most unique voices - you immediately recognize it. He's almost certainly going to be in other things you'll decide to watch

Just for clarification, Mahito doesn’t turn them into curses, he turns them into transfigured humans (or former humans according to the doctor lady (shoko)). That’s why they appear on pictures taken as opposed to curses that don’t appear on photos.

When Nanami says "I'll slap you" to Yuji, it's because of what Yuji called him. Honorifics are very important in Japanese Culture, Nanami-Sensei is what you would call a teacher, but since Nanami didn't want to be called Sensei, Nanami-San would be the formal honorific, and just saying Nanami would be very friendly, but Yuji calls him Nanamin, it'd be like if you gave one of your teachers a nickname and called them that.

I love how Nanami, always one for things being done the proper way, tells Yuji not to call him sensei since he is not technically his teacher, and Yuji, being Yuji, takes that as an opportunity to give this very serious businessman a cutesy nickname. 😂 Nanamin!!
