So, Ussop definitely should've listed the combat abilities of the clima-tact first, but we also see Nami's lack of real fighting experience here. The fact that she didn't study the clima-tact's abilities at all before this fight is pretty crazy to me. The main reason she won this fight is because Miss Doublefinger vastly underestimated her and her weapon (btw, I can't with Miss Doublefinger's walk 🤣🤣🤣). Yes, Nami's intelligence and resilience played a big part in winning this fight, but none of that would've mattered if her opponent didn't let it all happen. She didn't even try to dodge any of Nami's attacks. But that seems to be the downfall of many villains in media: hubris.

I blame Nami for the pain she faced. She wanted a weapon, knew that Ussop was a braggart and long winded, and didn't even try to learn about her weapon or ask Ussop.

The official version takes liberties with the translations, the most accurate ones are the fan made translations. When y'all were shocked that double finger swore at Nami, I believe a better translation is an aggressive 'you'!

Don't know if you guys realized this but when Nami was talking to Usopp asking him to make her a weapon he was in the middle of making his 5 ton hammer that he used against Mr 4. Two frying pans with a paper mache cover.
