Poor baby Falco :( but still, he's Falco the Beak Titan now. The fight scenes this episodes were so great and beautifully animated but so tragic. Jean learned not to hesitate when the fighting starts, right or wrong. I can't believe we're in the final episodes, I'm hyped for the both of you!

just a little thing that i see a lot of people overlook is the masterful character development of Floch, from the coward that survived in season 3 to the guy Eren is trusting to carry out his plan, He would have been Eldia's savior if it weren't for Faze Gabi. He didn't deserve to die like a coward so Isayama made him go out like an absolute beast.

I totally get why you guys feel how you do but I loved Floch after this episode. I thought he was unhinged until this point and I suppose I still do but I understand what drove him to that point. Floch is Erwin's true successor.

Don't think Floch is "true" successor. He just got it twisted in his mind. He was just a kid when he survived the suicide attack. He got the misconception of 'we need a devil to reach our goals'. So Floch took the 'devil' part of Erwin. But we know that Erwin was much more than that. Poor kid.

you can understand why someone did what they did and still refuse to like them. floch is trash. you said it yourself; he was 'unhinged', which is nicer than how i would have put it. the thing he believed with erwin is that you need a devil to defeat a devil. we will never see how erwin would have reacted to this situation, but i would like to believe he wouldn't have been completely for mass genocide of the entire world. but also, there's a very good chance he would have been for it, and maybe that's what makes hange's way of leading the scouts very much different than his. i haven't seen the final parts of the show so i'm not completely sure yet if anything in those parts would contribute to this current hypothesis. but the fact of the matter is that floch is a horrible person, and i believe he is written to be so. his hatred for marley is understandable, and i think jean brought up an excellent point that, if you stop eren, what's to stop marley from continuing to attack and destroy those on paradis? not everyone can be selfless enough to put the safety of others above your very own existence. but killing those who refuse to join your side or believe in your ideals, is heinous. no excusing it at all. floch is a horrible person and im glad they killed him.
