Cosmo Jarvis is so good as John Blackthorne, I chuckled at the same scene when he gets carried out after talking with Toranaga, grumbling away to himself. Toranaga, played by Hiroyuki Sanada, is definitely my fave character in the show, smart, likeable and badass, though I have a soft spot for Yabushiga the guy playing both sides. He's disloyal and an asshole but I can't help but find the guy funny, he reminds me a bit of a Dick Dastardly character bumbling around having his intentions foiled. His actor Tadanobu Asano does such a good job as him.

I was curious the black screen that happened, was that to censor something gorey? I was trying to figure out the context from that scene, probably not big or anything but my mind is curious 🤔😅
