And just like that, our perception of a character does a complete 180 in just a couple of episodes. Buggy is certainly evil and a bad guy, but he has principles. In the manga, these scenes were not written as their own chapters, but rather as the cover art of multiple chapters. Each chapter would essentially have one page of this little story. Zoro and Luffy both mentioning that they never get sick is likely a reference to a Japanese saying "idiots don't get sick". Also, one Japanese superstition is that sneezing can be caused by someone talking about you, similar to people in the West saying things like "my ears are burning" to suggest someone is talking about them. This why the Straw Hats suggested that someone was talking about them when they sneezed. It's a pretty common trope in Japanese media. Loguetown is a very cool place, a very cool name. It's described as the town of the beginning and the end. But it goes deeper than just Gold Roger's life. Loguetown is the setting of the prologue for One Piece and the Great Pirate Era, and the epilogue for Roger's Life. Loguetown gets its name from the "logue" in "epilogue" and "prologue". I'm so happy y'all decided to keep going after the LA. There will be lots of tears, pain, laughter and great memories. We all wish we can wipe our memories and rewatch one piece, there's nothing quite the same. I am looking forward to rewatching this series with the both of you.

i know this is early. but u will get to the point where there are boring fillers and should be skipped immediately. after Logue town is over. Skip 54--to--60

and episode 61 u should also skip. dont need to do a reaction video or upload for it. Just watch the end of 61 even though it's part of the filler of 54 to 61. because 61 has a continuation at the very end of it. that u must watch. But dont make a video reaction for it. Just only watch to know the Story. it will help u understand for later. things. Resume Continue reacting/upload with 62 and onward

2024-03-29 04:48:25 After 52/53, I'd recommend 55/61, then regularly doubles (62/63–82/83) & finally triple for 84-86. 55 (–08:00) is 6 minutes without the opening & 61 (13:00–) only ~9 minutes, so it would amount to less than 1 episode, but I'd take that for the sake of the triple

The ladies look like they're really enjoying one piece so I don't think they should skip anything, filler or not. Alot of funny moments are in those fillers and I can't get enough of Carissa's laugh 😂

if youre interesting in a more manga accurate version with the filler cut out imo this is the best way to watch the series https://onepace.net/watch you can watch pretty much the whole series here, stream or download, The pacing is 1000x better because it more closely resembles the manga.

I say don't skip the filler. I enjoy getting more stories with the characters I love as long as it doesn't derail the major action of an arc. But that's just my opinion. Glad you love the show and are continuing to watch.

episode 55 have 5 minutes canon from 2:40 to 7:40 is canon and is better to be watched, it explain important things Episode 61, half episode is canon (not near end) from minute 13:30 is canon

The filler is a waste of time, they already have over 1000 episodes to still watch. Honestly none of the filler arcs were great. They should even skip the Mixed Canon episodes as it's always just a few minutes at end of episode leading to next that has anything of relevance.

Imo there's no need to switch unless you feel like the show is dragged out, because it will change the build up to certain moments. Maybe switch after a new arc if you feel like it is repetitive. I personally enjoy One Piece as is, especially while important characters are still being introduced. Its a fun journey either way!

I think its absurd to suggest skipping fillers if you are really enjoying the series. They provides so much laughter and also character building. Especially if you are watching the series for the first time.

With any fancuts theres going to be tons of debate on how things are laid out, but I really think theres a blatant spot in the series where the pacing implodes and the show becomes a weekly event and not a proper ongoing story. At this episode rate though the Netflix version is going to start coming out before they get there. Personally I believe the more known something like One Pace gets the better it gets.
