The most festive video you'll watch (Patreon)

Do you know that when the universe gives you signs and guides your life but you're already way ahead of the signs? Alyssa Trahan said in November "work, bitch" - already working, bitch. Lada Duncheva said "the eclipse is a time of big spiritual transformation" - already been transformed this solstice. Teal Swan said last Saturday "Make Christmas about the experience you give to others" - already making an experience to give to others.
I meant to do this video last year for the Mega tier and I regret having been too unwell to make it happen. Now this year I had a difficult choice to make: Do I double down on bonus videos knowing the patrons who wanted to see this might not be here anymore? Or do I make it public and risk hurting people's feelings for making something available to all that, a long time ago, should have been exclusive? Do expectations expire at some point? It may take me a long time to finish videos, some were years in the making. I barely made the deadline for this very video. Will it all be worth it in the end?
This experience takes place in Shiki. You enjoy a glass of wine or blood, whichever suits your tastes... And Lucy entertains you with her angelic singing.
I picked the least worst songs I could find but I don't think I'd been able to pull this off if not for playing Lucy. Not much of a Christmas person and I could have gone my whole life without knowing the lyrics to vintage Christmas songs by heart. Apparently, Lucy loves Christmas. Or, the ones she used to know... Her voice sounds soothing, yet eerie and sad. I can't decide what to feel when listening to this and that's a good thing. It encompasses the complexity inherent in her situation. She's dead but not, spending Christmas with her own kind but not her family - what happened to them? - has fond memories of the season that have come to pass, yet the hope lingers that her loved ones may rise like she did and they could be reunited someday. I have found these three songs to be the most representative of the place she's in. If you're like me and enjoy pretending to be dead, you'll get a special satisfaction out of my little treat for you.
But all in all, I wanted to bring a festive mood to those of you who haven't been feeling it. I, myself, have been caught up in work, letting the holidays creep up on me - though that's me deliberately avoiding dealing with holidays every year. Jack and I don't even celebrate Christmas. We're heathens. We celebrate second Halloween. We decided that should be a thing now because of how annoying all these Christmas fanatics are, being so cheery and... Enthusiastic... So we were like "...can't it just be Halloween again..." and we're having a Halloween pizza party tomorrow which sounds a lot more fun than trying to make a "traditional" Christmas happen. We (I) already celebrated the solstice and wonderful things happened and tomorrow is Halloween pizza party day and also the solar eclipse which I don't know how to schedule into or around the pizza party as it falls right in the middle of our evening time we spend together. I know I'm just gonna go with the flow. Tfw you're spiritual but also down to earth? But right in between the solstice and the eclipse I give you a piece of holiday spirit in the form of a fallen angel, seeing you through the end of a decade.
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
