Down By The River ☽ (Patreon)

I did not go with "Super hot witch melts your troubles away ASMR" nor "Sexy wet witch helps you release!" which are both titles Jack came up with when I couldn't decide. He insists that they are technically accurate.
This is a video I've been working on for the better part of three weeks. I've gotten amazing results from this simple spell I wrote. It is yours to use in your own practice if you want. All you need is water, particularly to be at least partially submerged in it. And then you just need to focus and say these words:
☽ Into the water I release
The weight of the world so I may be free
To start a new path, 180 degrees
The strength I feel may grow and increase ☽
-repeat thrice and end with, so mote it be-
However, even if you don't practice witchcraft, are unsure or have no interest in it - this video itself is a tool you can use to let go of your chaotic energy and recharge your spirit. I can only speak from my own experience of course, but this spell is gently powerful. When I say it, I don't feel anything dramatically different. It is later, when I'm particularly busy and active, that I notice - I'm not exhausted even though I should be. I try to remember to say it every day in the shower because this spell gains momentum the more frequently you use it. I hope it will prove useful to you.
All it requires to be effective is your willingness to open up in a completely safe space and let me guide you through the process, which I hope I have done a satisfactory job of here.
I picked this spot by the river perform this spell for you because it's more or less remote and therefore not super populated - and it just happens to be more scenic and pretty than my shower.
I recorded the footage over two days (bet you can't tell because I managed to look identical to myself from the day before) and on the second day, I finally managed to successfully cast the spell after multiple attempts where people kept randomly walking by. Outtakes coming soon.
The only problem was the audio. The traffic noise (see outtakes) was so intolerably loud that you could barely hear me speaking in my normal voice. But I didn't want to give up on it.
So I did what any dedicated artist would do - I recorded a voice-over for the entire experience. That's right, I'm basically my own Hollywood production company now. All the voice, ambience and sound effects were done in post and I did my best to create a dreamy yet realistic atmosphere to make this video as immersive as possible. Two days ago I reviewed the damn thing, made a few more changes because I effectively don't know how the sound layering will turn out until I render it, had Jack give me his opinion on the updated version and decided that's all I'm gonna do to it.
A lot of this decision probably had to do with the fact that, well, I've been working on this one video for the better part of three weeks. Gone are the days when I could record a video in my bedroom and the next day it would be done! I hope this was worth it for you.
And while I was putting my sweat and tears into this somewhat unique video, I noticed something curious - I wasn't as bored as I use to be. The complexity of it all really challenged my editing abilities and stamina, though I lost count of how many times I crashed my software with the 6 audio tracks (minus two from the camera and recorder which I had to delete so it would even play back). I will be looking into an upgrade in the future.
I know spell work isn't everyone's jam, but please accept me as I am.
(I didn't mean for that to rhyme)
Going forward I will probably be exploring more complex projects - because now I know how to voice-over anything like they do for TV shows! This opens up some doors for me. I no longer have to consider noise as much which means I can basically go anywhere, film whatever I want, and then retreat to the basement (the furthest place I can find where the elephant isn't stomping around above me all night) to make sound magic happen. Of course I'd prefer organic outdoor shoots, but the noise pollution is real here and I just can't walk far enough to escape it. But oh well! It keeps me entertained. Who fucking knew all this time I was just bored and didn't realize it.
I hope you like my video. If you have any questions post them below :)
