Wow finally this period from hell has calmed down a little and I can finish my thoughts again. Thank you for submitting your questions which I have been thinking a lot about they're that good. Also difficult to answer but most good questions are. Particularly the first one...
If you could pick a fictional universe to life in, which one would you pick and what position would you like to have in its society? I think I'd live in Grimm because that fictional world feels cozy and homey to me. I relate a lot to the concept of having to conceal a huge part of your identity from most people so I think that's what makes me feel like I belong. Rather than a Grimm, I think I'd be some kind of Wesen (maybe a Hexenbiest?) and a largely uninvolved b roll from a filler, but always ready to jump in and use my special powers when I feel like I'm needed, then disappear again. Realistically, that's how I tend to live my life. What I fail to see is that people like me more than I think they do because of my history being a social reject and all so I tend to leave a trail of broken hearts and hurt feelings wherever I go, even though I try my best not to get attached after making the mistake of trusting the wrong person with my secret in a desperate attempt to be loved for who I am and having to learn the hard way that even the people who say they love you can change their minds about you instantly in the face of the tiniest misunderstanding (or as soon as you happen to do anything they don't agree with). I'm probably at least 50% responsible for all the sub-plot drama in that universe without even meaning to and likely vilified by some for that. I probably have a huge crush on Trubel. But yeah, most of my role in that society would be jump in, help out, once the job is done disappear off the face of the Earth until the next time I'm needed. Recently I realized how I've been selling myself short all my life by trying to save people who didn't want to be saved and giving my gifts freely to people who didn't want them so the next logical step is to preserve my energy and treat myself like I'm actually valuable and saving my gifts for when I'm needed by people who can truly appreciate me. That's why I'm choosing to be a b roll Hexenbiest in Grimm.
Apart from Type O and Marilyn Manson, any bands/albums you could recommend? Sidewalks and Skeletons, NightmareOwl, Nightwish with Tarja only, a few songs by Within Temptation, Snake River Conspiracy and especially their cover of How Soon Is Now, ... I have more artists I like to listen/sing along to but I'm honestly more of a liking-a-few-songs-from-every-band-and-kinda-hating-the-rest person. So when I find an artist/band I can get into that's a rare occurrence. Next time ask me for my selected songs from different artists I kinda like for more linkfest XD
I'm looking into getting into witchcraft, inspired by you as your healing videos help me out in my darkest hours. (Thank you btw.) Any resource recommendations and/or tips on how to start? This is a difficult question to answer because witchcraft calls everyone differently. I am a firm believer that everyone has their own path and should seek such guidance from within rather than someone telling them exactly what to do. I will however tell you that before throwing yourself into the craft, you should at least become advanced in protecting your own aura/energy. Ain't no one get a demonic attachment faster than starting witchcraft without protection. There are many magical things you can use to achieve that - sage smudging, my protection oil recipe, sigils and symbols, crystals and stones, herbs,... Whichever one (or multiple) you choose actually ties in with my second piece of advice: Follow your own intuition. Above anything, witchcraft should bring you closer to yourself. The best place to start is with whatever interests you the most. Which topic sparks the most excitement/curiosity in you? Divination? Herbs? Crystals? Practical spell casting? Sigils? Healing? Runes? Deities and entities? Book of Shadows? Mythology? Astrology? Numerology? Alchemy? Altars? It can never hurt to look up different practices online - back when I started that wasn't a thing so my path was completely intuitive but now we have the internet where any information you could possibly want, you can get. Make use of it. How I started was I went to my local bookstore and bought a tarot deck and have been obsessively doing readings with scary accuracy for a while. Then I got a job at 15 and used my magazine delivery money to buy crystals and started making crystal water which tastes amazing by the way. My parents don't know what they're missing by making fun of me for "wasting money on stupid rocks". Follow your passion and intuition - also related: Avoid practices that fill you with fear. Fear means you're not ready for it. If you happen to feel drawn to the dark arts, protecting yourself becomes 100x more important. But if your intuition says no, that means no. You must honor yourself above anything else so knowing yourself and having a good relationship with yourself is of the utmost importance. Witchcraft can enrich your life, but you have to take it very seriously because every spell you cast will have real consequences. So don't treat is as a game or hobby for when you're bored. (You wouldn't believe how many people think that's what it's about.) Once you know what your path is (what you wanna do first), you can ask me more detailed questions. Have fun learning :)
Do you like this (cover) song? Rowland S. Howard - Life's What You Make It. It's alright. The beat is very repetitive and drives me a little insane. The overall sound is good tho.
Do the zodiac signs correlate to which ASMR triggers a person likes? A very interesting question. From everything I've been reading it always states that your sign(s) affect different areas of your body, for example: as an Aries I agree that my head (and especially ears) are extremely sensitive. I get headaches from wearing (any) hair accessories and excruciating ones from cold ears. Even if it's not cold but windy - headache from hell. It would make sense that if your sign can tell which body part is particularly sensitive, it could also be related to how you tingle. Any Pisces here who can confirm that foot massages are awesome? Since people aren't as one-dimensional as newspaper horoscopes, however, it would be hard to tell their exact combination of preferences for stimuli. After all, that's what people complain about the most - "I'm a _____ but I'm not like that at all!" Well honey that's because there's more to you than just your sun sign and knowing a person fully requires reading ALL of your stars and even then this is only a general tendency - life experiences shape us all differently and maybe you stepped on a wasp once and now can't stand movement on or near your feet. Maybe your father used to give you back scratches when you were a child but then your parents divorced and now having your back touched reminds you of how unlovable you feel because your mother made your father out to be the biggest jerk just so she could feel better about herself playing the victim in that forced and dysfunctional train wreck of a relationship. Astrology can tell you a lot about what's going on in your life - but I think that's where it ends. How you react to it will depend on who you are and who you have become. So it wouldn't surprise me if there is a tendency for ASMR preferences in the different signs.
I've officially run out of focus writing this - I hope this answers what you wanted to know and August Q&A will be here in just a moment for any new questions you may have thought of. Have a lovely day
