Crystal Healing Sneak Peek (Patreon)
Content
Meow! So I'm working on some ASMR again and recently I had a breakthrough with a year old (?) conundrum.
After my last crystal healing video, I let you guys vote on which crystals I'm gonna end up using next and the ones that came out highest voted were rose quartz and diamond. Ever since, I have been in search of the right diamond to use but my source (eBay) only turned up ridiculously expensive results and my local supplier of rocks and shinies only carried very smol diamonds. I mean very, very smol. Probably undetectable to the human eye unless you were actually able to play my videos in 4k. I mean, being able to see the stone is kind of the point in making a video about it, is it not? So I was at a loss as for how to make this project work for a while.
I liked the idea of combining rose quartz and diamond and I commend you for picking these out of my admittedly random list. These two stones actually have similar vibrations so it will be easy to work with them both - is what I thought.
The hangup was just with the size of available diamonds. When I decided to go crystal shopping again on Tuesday (always a fun, recreational activity for me) I did not miss a single drawer in the slightly crammed store. It's like a treasure hunt, digging through all the dusty corners in search for the perfect gem! I ended up purchasing a few special somethings I will need for a couple of Cosmic Tier amulets and even found the perfect smoky quartz point for my first handmade wand that I had been envisioning for quite a while. I also found the hidden diamond stash! And by that I mean, three smol, raw, grey diamonds that were not in the display case with the even smaller but crystal clear sparkly granules. Fortunately, the size and color of the stone does not matter when using it in healing practices. I decided to take the largest specimen home, still not knowing exactly what to do with it. I did learn from the shop owner that the reason why they don't carry larger stones is because apparently the price tag of diamonds skyrockets for stones larger than 4mm. Whoever currently holds the monopoly on diamonds is a very rich man I'm sure.
Once I arrived home and poured out all my new shinies all over the table, my thoughts circled around the rose quartz and diamond video and I started to gather some quartzes. As my gaze fell upon an old pendant that I had fallen out of love with, I couldn't help but notice how the roughness of the quartz seemed to align with the roughness of the diamond and how there seemed to be a spot carved out in the middle of the pendant for this tiny little diamond. I'm not sure the stones knew each other beforehand, but look how perfectly they ended up fitting together!
The indirect lighting drowns the diamond centerpiece in darkness, but it's actually quite sparkly. You will see in the video!
I have been charging this pendant to prepare for it and as you can see, I pimped it a little by wrapping it in silver. I love doing that to all my jewelry. It's a thing now. I just can't get over how the diamond fits in that cavity and my intention is for their vibrations to combine in this pendant to create a "love conquers all" type of energy. The love and peace of the rose quartz coupled with the invincibility of the diamond... Just imagine what this will feel like! It sounds a little bit like a hippie video saying it like that, but oh well. As I'm finalizing my idea for how to use it later tonight, the thing that resonates with me the most is conveying a self-love and inner peace so strong that you can't ignore it. I want to plant this vibration in you and tear out the weeds so you can be at peace with yourself forever. That's the direction I decided to take with my life so it's the most logical step for what to give to others.
I hope you will like the video and that it comes out as I intend. Afterwards there will be a new poll where you can pick new crystals - hello fresh patrons! you might not know that was a thing well there you go - compiled by my trusted method of open-random-page in this book
I'm already excited to see what you'll pick next! And I haven't even started filming on this one.
Actually, I've been pretty damn busy just working on the aesthetic - and I know, most of you could probably care less about how pretty my background is, but you know, I want perfection anyway. So I bought this fairy light net back in December or something
and I was going to use it for a different kind of video where I got hung up on the background never looking just right for the vibe I'm trying to create and I thought these lights would elevate it but it they ended up not being bright enough to shine through the tapestry I set up and I was too depressed to say what I wanted to say and make you feel what I wanted to feel so I postponed this until, well, whenever the idea is fully developed and ready to come out. Some of these videos are just a few years in the making, that's reality. I'd rather take forever to the point where most people will have forgotten that was a thing and moved on than half-ass something.
Then spring came and then summer came and I fell deeply in love with nature and the color green. So much so that I had to make my hair match. I thought it would be cool if I blended in with the foliage because of how I feel like I belong with the trees and the plants but don't feel the same belonging with people. So I decided to become a plant person, like in the Sims. It's working out great for me for now but I already miss the gorgeous red color I still have in my bathroom cabinet and that many of my future videos rely on.
So, naturally, I've been spending some time decorating to not only bring the stuff I love into my home (and onto my own head). While Jack was here, we looked around in the art supply store at the mall and found these gorgeous mossy green flower husks
and I thought, I like these a lot - I must do something with them! My first thought was actually attaching them to some lights but I hadn't decided which ones (I have multiple) and how and how I wanted them to end up looking... But you'll never know unless you actually fucking try something, right? So I tore down this light net from above my desk and started playing around with it. I happened to find that the husks align perfectly with the tiny little LEDs and the white light illuminates them from the inside, turning them into tiny mossy lamp shades right out of a fairy hearth and home magazine or something. I spent a full day yesterday individually taping the flowers to each single LED. I love them.
I don't love them against a white background, though. They look like shit against any color other than black. I know that because I tried attaching them to my sheer white curtains first and I was appalled. Since I only have so many uniform walls here in my tiny shoe box apartment, I fiddled around with them over my living room shelves which I painted black not long ago. Black, black, black, black, no.1....
I'm almost satisfied with the result except I need to figure out what to put in the actual shelves that doesn't clash with the cozy green net, like that obnoxious orange candle I have there... I should probably also put my electronics box out of the way cause... Wire salad background. It's the wrong color wire salad, leave me alone XD
Anyway, let me know if you dig sneak peeks like that, if you would like more frequent updates about what I'm working on, or if you're just here for the finished videos and don't really care how they're made. I hope to have this done and ready before summer solstice as I think people would benefit from this energy the most during this time. Wish me luck! No matter how much planning and work goes into videos, luck is still a critical factor due to all the things out of my control like noisy neighbors and overheating cameras. I can't fucking wait for this gem to be done. I just felt like after a pretty long break, I should probably drop something slightly more exciting than Sex Signs, which I will finish soon aswell. We only have two chapters left!
Ok that was that, hope you have an awesome day!
