Happy new year. I'm starting to wonder about something - if a patron deletes their pledge, are their comments on my posts automatically deleted? Because I've been remembering questions I've read that I prepared to answer in my head but I'm not sure if I ever got around to answering them. Am I living the Mandela effect? 

People are being dumb outside right now so I can't sleep. Let's answer your questions instead fashionably late and I'll see about the fashionably late bonus video later. 

Where is your accent from? Everywhere. I have this thing where whenever I learn something new - I learn it in the accent I hear it in. That's one of the reasons why it appears to fluctuate over the course of a conversation or even one sentence. I also tend to lean towards copying accents I hear frequently. Like, back when we were binge watching iZombie, I was basically Ravi for a good portion of the time.

Beside Jack, what are you looking forward to most about moving to the USA? Being on a different continent than everyone I know.  

Seeing how people in the Open world (out of youtube) Reacts to ASMR in general..  would you be confortable doing an Interview in Wide Media (TV, Radio)? Hell no. My fear of being seen is no joke. It's not even about how the public views ASMR, just fuck mainstream media in general. The last thing I want is to be recognized by mainstream people. 

If you could spend 24 hrs with a deceased musical artist who would it be and why? Ohhh you're good. Making me pick between my two favorite musicians who are both dead. I guess I would hang with Dolores because she's less intimidating than Pete. 

What's the funniest comment you ever got under a Youtube video? *laughs thinking about it* That has to be the one that went "Please marry me ... I have many sheep" - It's gonna be hard to beat that one. 

What is an absolute must have/no go for you when your watching ASMR videos yourself? Must have: Production quality. Plain trigger compilations or just being boring while exaggerating mouth sounds annoy me. No go: Being too close to the microphone. It's fine when I'm watching without headphones, but if I want to tingle and have my Xtreme buds in, then hearing something -especially talking and whispering- really close to my ears is offputting. I like to keep my virtual company at an arm's length at least. 

Do you believe in New Year's resolutions? And if yes, do you have any? No. That's like believing in graduating with a solid F in every class. I've failed at too many resolutions to hold much meaning for them. I make resolutions occasionally, but they're not conveniently timed or anything. The last resolution I made was last week when I decided I'm done apologizing for who I am and what I think, want, feel and like. I don't need anyone's permission to like myself. 

Do you like Tim Burton films? No. 

What's your favourite incense to burn? It's a blend called fire dance with sandalwood, styrax, patchouli, coriander, ylang ylang and something else I forgot.  

What are some of the trends in ASMR videos (old and new) that you like, and that you can't stand - not necessarily triggers but aesthetics, filming styles, themes (ASMRthot in lingerie licks your ears), etc?  Anything that you wish would become more popular without turning into an overused super-trend? This might sound nitpicky but I don't like it when I can see the microphone in the video. Like ok you want to show off more of your pretty body I get it but having this inanimate object there being delicately caressed feels... weird. I also cannot stand mouth sounds. I'm one of those people who finds those disgusting and I edit them out of my videos as much as I can. I wish people would create more virtual experiences rather than just shallow whispering and tapping. I want more true art and less hair brush tapping. 

Tips for approaching skittish cats? 1) Move very slowly. You want to let the cat know that you're not gonna hurt it and you do that best by being accomodating of its feelings. I befriended an extremely skittish cat that way. Take your time and let it come to you. You may approach it slowly, but when you see it flinch, freeze immediately. Baby steps. 2) You may talk to it in a friendly voice. If it's a house cat, it's probably used to it from its guardians. 3) Slow blink. It lets the cat know you're friendly. It's a sign of trust. 4) Have treats. Most cats can be convinced to be petted if you give them food. Shake the bag and see if they respond, open the bag and let them sniff it, approach it slowly with the treats. Situationally, you may try carefully tossing individual treats in the cat's direction, but it might scare it so be careful. When I encounter cats that are interested in the food but are too stubborn, I leave a little handful of treats on the ground and walk away. By the time I return to the spot, it's usually eaten. When they see you again, they will still make the connection. You iz good person, you haz food. 

Do you know any Bavarian dialect? No. I actually got bullied in elementary school for not speaking in the dialect. Besides a few very common expressions that make it into normal language, I don't speak it at all. I wouldn't even be able to really tell you which parts of the general sound of it are specifically Bavarian because I've never had a chance to compare what I hear around here to the rest of the country. 

You favorite triggers? The sound of shells hitting the ground... I'm kidding. Soft speaking and massarrrrrrrges. And hair cutting. And reiki. But only the real shit, not the "reiki roleplay for ASMR" type shit. There are a lot of other nice sounds in the ASMR realm that don't make me tingle but are pleasant anyway (eg: cat purring, fire, water, leaves rustling) and I think there are countless people who just watch ASMR to wind down without experiencing tingles. A video doesn't have to make me tingle to be a good relaxation video, that's just a bonus.

Satisfying your curiosity is my favorite thing, don't be afraid to inquire more if my answer was brief or unclear either - occasionally I like to entertain myself by being sassy but I know it's difficult to express that in text because it's not like there's a sassy font or anything.
