Such a Fancy ASMR Try-on Haul! (Patreon)

Ok... I did a thing. I did not mean to do the thing. But had I not done the thing, I could not honestly say this video was worth my time. I didn't want this to be yet another EMP Try-on haul, even though that's precisely what it is. So I did the thing I do where I pretend the camera is Jack to make it more comfortable for myself. So you are Jack and you're helping me pick out clothes that I so kindly model for you. That's the roleplay. You can actually see it this time, too, thanks to this amazing automatically focusing camera that Martin was so kind to gift me. Then there's Type O Negative because of course there is. This song just popped into my head while I was modeling the clothing and later, after 6 solid hours of editing and cropping down 70 minutes of footage to about a half hour of crisp 4K tingly extravaganza, I was just getting bored with just all crinkly fabric and leather and ugh... So when it was time to resume the editing, I'm not sure what came over me, I just had to... I had to... I couldn't not... put heavy metal in my ASMR. *exhales slowly*

I know many people don't like music in ASMR, but this one is just not the same without it. It's plain and boring without the droning electric guitar. Since the intro song exerpt is so short, I had to trim down the already carefully selected best of the best triggers, going by my own ears of course, a little more to create an atmospheric trigger medley that sets the mood for the video and is hopefully not confusing. I consider this to be pretty daring, you know, doing things no one else does, but my heart would be sad had I not gone completely and utterly over the top with this one. So the good news is, I figured out how to make ASMR fun again. For myself. To create. R.I.P. 10000 subscribers who are gonna think I'm "trying too hard to be edgy". Bitch, I was born edgy. It's actually true, according to people who have allegedly seen me as a baby. I was born goth. I came out with shoulder length black hair and pitch black eyes. Yeah. 

So line 'em up for December! I'm in full workaholic mode again and kicking off the month of gifts with this, ehh... I'm not even sure what to call this. The thing. The thing that took up 13 hours of my time to film and edit. I made it worth it.

Apologies for the lighting and angle. I didn't notice it wasn't showing below my knee so you can't see how long some of the dresses are. I have short legs. It's a problem. And when I set up it always annoys me that the videos come out a lot darker than they look on the LCD screen for some reason so I err on the side of caution and set it a little brighter than it needs to be. I adjusted it so you could see my clothes way back there so when I come closer my face disappears. It's... also a problem. I actually confuse people in real life. They never know if I'm just wearing white tights or of I'm that pale. I'm fluorescent. That's my secret. 

Once you're done watching, what's your favorite trigger from this video? Mine is fumbling with the ribbons at about 22:10. Surprisingly tingly. The shirt fluttering from the intro was my second favorite. Fluttering fabrics make nice sounds. 

I feel like the thumbnail is a little misleading cause it's so badass looking yet the video is so romantic... Oh well. I hope you all have a great holiday season and look forward to the December videos! So many video babies waiting to be born... Cheers!
