cat food 2018 (Patreon)

Today I made some progress with the rewards. I had errands in the morning and afterwards had my carer take me to a pet supply store to keep my end of the deal. Thanks to your awesomeness and generosity, I was able to donate 12kg adult cat kibble, 8kg kitten kibble, 9.6kg kitten wet food, 12kg adult cat wet food and 9 packets temptations cat treats - and then I made it rain a little with some cat toys out of my own pocket including a little self-entertainment station with a bouncer toy and ball chasing tunnel kind of like this [link], a feather toy, a ribbon fishing rod, some toy mice, jingle bell balls, pressed catnip balls and a laser pointer. Ain't no cat that doesn't love the laser pointer. 

Thank you for helping us to fill so many hungry tummies. The only lady tending the shelter while the rest of the staff were out taking the dogs for a walk seemed a bit antisocial, just like myself. I would not expect to be bothered by a random human in my happy place either. She did accept the donation though and we were on our way. I'm posting this in case you need an ego boost today, knowing that some of your money went into making cats' and kittens' lives a little brighter. 

Assuming my Patreon continues to grow, the next big donation will likely be made to an animal shelter in MO (where we're moving). I know this is only a one-time reward for a monthly pledge but that's why in the future I'd also like to add donations for reaching new goals and milestones. Doing good feels good. I'm honestly in over my head at the moment with projects that need my energy and people that need help but I'm happy to cross one of those tasks off now and sending good energy to all the pets in need and the people dedicating their lives to helping them.
