We go back to the vet in a month to see if the bone has started to fuse, but for now, she seems okay and not in pain.

As you can tell though, something ain't right with her snout/jaw. The jaw broke In front of her canine teeth on both sides. That front area where you can see her teeth isn't actually attached to her jaw anymore. She has her mouth closed in the back, but the front of the jaw just kind of hangs open a bit. She also had several puncture wounds, you can see one between the eyes. And then damage to the interior of the mouth, a large laceration under the tongue and to the tongue itself. Soft tissue injuries are already healing up well though.

Thankfully there's enough surrounding tissue to keep it the jaq close to in place, but it will fuse a bit open and cockeyed. Considering the vets opinion on the dogs chances went from "pessimistic" to "yeah, she should be fine", I'm hopeful she should be okay, if not a bit funny looking and stuck eating only soft foods from now on.

Sorry for the scare with the first post. Like I said previously, i would have dealt with the situation without making it a public thing, but we had the poll winner getting delayed and using the backup update, etc, I felt like I had to let you guys know why.
