Vote on the Next Backlog Bop! (Patreon)

As you may know, I recently started a new series of videos called "Backlog Bop" where I look at those shows I've wanted to watch for a while, but never got around to (life on the backlog can be painful). The idea is to shine a spotlight on works you might have missed in a way that's both quick and easily accessible.

That said, I'm still tweaking how I want to go about the series. My first two--on Yuyushiki and Ojamajo Doremi S1--were fairly straightforward. I might try experimenting with it a bit more in the future. At the same time, I've long wanted a better way to give back to my patrons than I've been doing. 

So with that in mind, I decided to let you choose which show I cover in my next Backlog Bop video! The concept is simple: I select four nominations from my backlog, and you pick the winner. I hope to be able to do one of these per month with a new slate of anime each time. Credit to MrNiesGuy for the original idea. I thought this would be a fun way to spice things up.

For the month of April, your choices are four shows that have toiled away on my backlog as long as any: Kaiba, Wandering Son, Kare Kano, and The Woman Called Fujiko Mine. From Hideaki Anno and Masaaki Yuasa to Sayo Yamamoto, there's no shortage of fantastic creators here! To be perfectly honest, I don't envy you for having to choose just one.

So then, what will it be?
