Update time!

Another week of writing done. I’m not progressing as fast as I’d hoped. Turns out long term quarantine isn’t great for creativity, who knew? Seriously though, I had enough already written down to allow both the background art team and phoenix to work concurrently with my writing, so they should all make the deadline for this last scene. I’ve allocated more of my own time next week for game development to hopefully compensate and catch up. It’s going to be tight, but having one date for each of the main girls in the first public release isn’t really optional at this point. And neither are the QA cycles I wish to pass the game through before release.

I’m also continuing the effort to add full android support before the release. The basic build is stable and most functionality has been tested and works (save and load, persistent settings changes, visual effects and shaders etc). Full gesture support for rollback and text skipping may have to wait as writing tasks take priority for now. Worst case I’ll stagger the release a bit with a PC version out first and an android, mac and linux versions released a bit later after I manage to provide more robust support for them.
