Update time!

Since the Body Language tech demo release last week, I've gotten back a bunch of helpful feedback. In response I've been fixing bugs, editing dialogues and polishing up the UI all week. To help streamline the dialogue editing process (both for myself and for Awolfe) I've spent some more time on dialogue tooling. This will allow me to work with concise files containing just the dialogue text, removing all the effects and branching logic. I've now used this new tool to fix many of the typos Awolfe and other players found. The difference it makes in terms of time needed to find and fix a typo is noticeable.

I continue to slowly roll out the tech demo to select players as more early feedback is extremely helpful, both on the technical aspects and on the story and mechanics of the game. The good news is the main mechanics seem to be working well and the general premise as revealed in the games intro is well received so far (I know, patrons are biased, but I'd like to think even you lot would tell me if it was total crap).

Next week I'm going to take a break from tech work and focus on writing, there are a lot of dates planned for Body Language so I may as well start writing them as early as possible. I'm also working on two other things that depend on other people, so I'll keep the details to myself for now until I know for sure they're going to happen.

Let me know if you want in on the tech demo testing, and have a great week!
