Update time!

This week I focused on the games mood system. I'm still refining it, but it's looking rather nice so far. The basics of the system are rather simple. When you go to chat up one of the girls, a random mood will be determined for her. That mood will affect how effective certain actions will be in advancing your relationship. If she's feeling tired, she may be up for a quiet chat, but going dancing would be out of the question. If she's feeling sexy though, the reverse might be true.

As the player, you'll be able to figure out what mood she's in by reading her body language (i.e. which sprite is currently used for her) and matching that with what she's telling you. From there, figuring out which actions will work best should be simple enough. Naturally, I'm going to need a lot of feedback on this system from you all so I can make it just interesting enough without being too obtuse.

I've also spent a bit more time this week adding mini placeholder dialogues for all of the non main girl related buttons and actions. Sadly, I also had to spend about 4 hours fighting one rather nasty bug, ID collisions are not fun. But, that battle is behind us, and the dialogue system is now more stable as a result.

Phoenix delivered a sketch for the money making scene, it's looking rather good so far. She's given me a heads up about taking a short break in the near future. This shouldn't cause a delay at this point as the majority of the required assets are already in place. And she's assured me she's committed to the project for the foreseeable future.

I'm currently aiming the limited tech demo release for the end of this month. It's a bit of a tight schedule, but it looks doable right now. I will of course update you if this changes.
