Lauren: Proper Company (Patreon)

Lauren’s first day of work had a bit of a rocky start. This new, dark-skinned version of her may have been an accomplished bellydancer with an exciting, edgy demeanor, but that seemed to come with the territory of being impulsive and disorganized.
“Briaaaaan!” She called from the master bathroom. “Do you know where my black work shirt is?”
For his part, Brian was still drowsy and had no idea why HE had to be awake at such an early hour. Lauren kept pouting that she wanted his support on her first day, but since the only thing she was doing was getting dressed. Still, she seemed to somehow be having a hard time with that.
“Didn’t you just have it yesterday?” He asked, trying his very best to not sound annoyed as she puttered around frantically with her hair up in a scrunchie and far too much jewelry for a day of work.
“Yes! But now it’s gone!” She cried out in her thick, enjoyable accent.
Brian sighed and groaned quietly to himself. “Did you put it in your dresser?”
“I did! But now it’s not there!” She replied.
Grumbling and just the tiniest bit chilly, the dutiful husband got up out of bed, walked into the living room, and immediately grabbed the still-wrapped work clothes off of the table before walking back into the bedroom.
“Oh my god, Brian you saved me. Thank you so much!” She beamed, kissing him before turning around and walking back into the bathroom, wiggling her ass just a little bit for him to see.

“Lauren.” Brian began, causing the ambiguously young woman to turn around.
“Mm?” She asked, turning.
“Are you going to wear all that makeup and jewelry to mow lawns and clean a golf course?”
“I want to make a good impression!” She whined.
“Okay, but how good an impression are you going to make if you show up in blue jeans and not the pants that came with your uniform?”
Lauren simply stared at him for a moment before groaning loudly and angrily removing her pants in frustration.
Brian and Lauren pulled up to the golf course in a huff, 6 minutes late for her intended shift. She rushed out of the car and scrambled up to the main office only to put her hand on the door knob and find that it wouldn’t turn.
“You’re late.” Came a voice from behind her.
They turned to see a gorgeous, tawny-skinned woman in black lipstick and a Pearl Pines uniform. With her dark hair and tan skin, she didn’t look all too different from Lauren.
“I AM SO SORRY I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT BUT I COULDN’T FIND THE ENTRANCE AND I MISSED MY TURN AND-“ Lauren gushed nervously.
Brian knew full well that she was lying through her teeth, but said nothing. She’d spent all morning in a tiz, running around the house trying to doll herself up despite being completely unprepared for her first day.
“Chill. No one else is here. Besides, I usually come in 20 minutes from now. The boss doesn’t check and there are no cameras out here, so it’s whatever. I just used this as an opportunity for a smoke break.” The woman said, her Hispanic features clear even beneath her dark makeup that she too decided was fit for yard work.

“Alex.” She said, extending her hand. “I’m supposed to train you, but technically I’m not your boss. It’s pretty chill here so long as we get our shit done.”
Lauren smiled and took her hand, and in that moment Brian felt the world sort of …tense for a second. Like everything in that moment was so strained and compressed that his vision vibrated. He blinked the sensation away, feeling a dull ache in his eyes and head.
When his vision cleared, both women were chatting away as if nothing had happened, but Brian could tell that the Lauren he was looking at was already not the one he’d driven up with. She’d lost nearly all the weight she’d gained since moving to America, her face visibly thinner as she smiled and conversed with her new coworker. Her hair was straighter and waist pinched inward under a pair of sizeable tits that definitely weren’t there before. She looked good, he thought, noticing that much of the makeup she’d made herself late trying to apply that morning had muted to a more natural look as opposed to being bright and bold.

“Soooo…Uhhh, is he working here too or…?” Alex asked, gesturing to Brian.
“Oh no, he’s just dropping me off, sorry.” Lauren said before rushing over to him for a kiss goodbye.
“I’ll see you around 3?” She asked, tracing her finger down his chest flirtatiously, biting her lip as she did.
“I’ll be here. On time, even.” Brian replied, grinning.
Lauren rolled her eyes and shoved him lightly with her hand before walking away.
“Oh my god, shut up! I’ll see you later. Love you!” She called out.
“I love you. Have a good day.” Brian called back, scanning her for any other changes.
If anything, he realized as he watched her and Alex wander off onto the course, Lauren looked more professional and put together than she’d been before. Her shirt, once loose and casual was now tucked into her pants and held by a belt. Her sexy black stompy boots had been replaced by a pair of sensible white shoes that Brian would have expected to see on an actual golfer. He started the car and began to drive away, wondering what sort of changes were already underway.
Brian went home and spent the rest of his morning first in bed, and then making breakfast, followed by some quiet time alone. For once, he could just sit back and enjoy some peace and quiet without having to worry about what his wife was going to turn into or whether or not one of her friends was going to magically become his official lover and push him to sleep with her. Granted, he hadn't really been too opposed to the idea when it came up, but getting to just exist in his own space for once was nice. Still, his thoughts wandered back to Lauren and her constantly shifting reality no matter how hard he tried to put it from his mind. None of the changes seemed to greatly affect their relationship too badly. In fact, most of them added a new, fun twist to their lives. With the extra financial support from the Luscious sisters and their immutable insistence on caring for the woman who was once their real sister somehow, he didn't even need to work to keep the bills paid and the house afloat. All in all, there really wasn't all that much to conceivably worry about. Whether Lauren was a bodybuilder, a bellydancer, a gamer dork, or even an old lady, she always ended up happy with her lot in life. That, he reasoned, was enough to convince him to let his guard down a bit and be less apprehensive about whatever it was that was going on.
3PM came slower than Brian had expected, and by the time it did, he couldn't wait to get out of the house and go see his wife. When he rolled up, he expected her to be more or less the same but didn't expect much in the way of consistency.
"Haaaaaay!" Lauren called out upon seeing the car roll up, but Brian immediately noticed a change in her tone. Her accent had greatly dissipated, already sounding more American again.
She and Alex seemed to be getting along splendidly as well, though both of them looked to have shed some of their dark aesthetic. Lauren's pants had switched from white denim to a sort of shiny black material, but she'd otherwise slimmed down significantly and now shared a similar bright and peppy attitude with Alex. Brian couldn't help but grin when he saw the two standing together looking like smirking, smiling supermodels even as they finished cleaning up the grass at the end of their shift.

"Hay babes!" Lauren chirped peppily, bouncing up and down as she skipped over to the car, her hair and breasts both joining in on the up and down motion as she skipped.
"Yeah," Brian thought out loud. " I don't think I'm gonna hate this."
