After Story. Wedding Ceremony Arc: Blessings From The Citizens

"This is......amazing......"

I turn speechless at the view visible from the terrace. Today is the day of the wedding ceremony at Nanor, but it's a number of people that goes as far as to cover the streets.

A part of the Royal Castle has also been opened up for common use so that they can see us, and they can come all the way up close to the terrace from there, but there's so many people that they'll end up flooding the place if the soldiers don't hold them back. 

The main street outside the Royal Castle is also packed with stalls, and plenty of people are coming and going. It appears that they've gathered from all over the country to catch a glimpse of us.

The participants of the wedding ceremony this time around will be, Alexia, Helen, Aerith, Marin, Filia, and Chrona. Everybody should be changing since this morning for the sake of today's preparation. The man me finished right away though. 

"This day is finally here huh"

"......Your Majesty. And Prime Minister, and Chichiue as well"

After staring blankly at the view visible from the terrace, the door opened, and His Highness and others came in. I suppose they most likely got chased out of Alexia and others' room. That place is men-prohibited after all. 

His Highness and others, who came on in as it is, sit on the sofa in the room. When I sit on the opposite side as well

"It's already 9 years since I met Lei huh"

His Highness mutters heartfully. 9 years huh. That, if I remember correctly, was when I came to the Royal Capital for the sake of reporting about the Great March at Runwalker March, was it. It was coincidentally Marina-san's birthday during that period, so it was decided that we'd all go together huh.

"Alexia, whom I met at that time, challenged Chichiue to a duel, didn't she"

"Ah〜, she did huh. But I went on to make Lei do it, was it?"

Sieg made me Alexia's opponent because he didn't want to fight huh. Now that I think about it, if I didn't do that, I probably wouldn't be her fiancé like this.

It's precisely because there's that battle, that Alexia became fond of me, and I also got interested in Alexia. I guess I met Helen at that time as well huh. How nostalgic. 

"I have not forgotten about it even now, you know, that Helen was making a fuss about there being a mysterious boy"

The Prime Minister says something like that to me while laughing. She was saying something like that huh, Helen. Somehow, it sure is embarrassing to hear something like that from somebody other than the person herself huh.

As we're having fun chatting about the past even after that, a knock on the door is heard. When I respond, the maid of this Royal Castle enters and says she wants me to come since Alexia and others' preparation are done.

Everybody is probably gonna be gorgeous huhh. I follow behind the maid in excitement. His Highness and others are also tagging along behind. 

And then, female knights were guarding the entrance closely when we arrived at the room where everybody was said to be. I followed along since the maid knocked and opened the door, but His Highness and others who were tagging along behind were stopped by the female knights. 

"It will only be Leivelt-sama from this point forward"

"Wh-, why!? I want to see my daughter's bride figure as well though!"

"It will come after Leivelt-sama has had a look"

, His Highness and others also ended up surrendering to the female knights who showed no sign of letting them through at all. 

I carry on into the room even as I have such His Highness and others on my mind. The inside has been partitioned with curtains, and the figures of my other fiancées aren't visible.

"Lei-sama is here"

"Is that so, Lei, give us a minute, alright"

When the maid conveys my arrival, Alexia's voice can be heard from the other side of the curtains. At the same time as that, the sound of the curtains opening as well. Alexia and others are probably blocked by the curtains as well. 

And then, a single maid comes out from the inside of the curtains. It's the maid who was helping them dress huh. She quickly draws the curtains. And then I end up freezing at the sight of Alexia and others who appeared......isn't it the same as the time with Ferris and others, me. 

Everybody has done their makeup and is wearing gorgeous dresses in a variety of colours respectively. Alexia is wearing a yellow dress that bares her shoulders. Aerith a crimson red dress. Helen an orange dress, and Marin a green dress. Chrona a black dress, and Filia a light-blue dress respectively.

"I-, is it weird?"

"Not at all. Everybody is gorgeous. So much so that I want to brag to everybody right this very moment"

They blush when I say that. But I'm not lying and really do think so. I thought so as well back when it was Ferris and others, but they really are fiancées who are too good for me. 

As I'm spelling out my thoughts to everybody who asks me how they look respectively, a blindfolded Allen and Elene come in from the door. 

"Uwaa〜, Mama-s are beautiful〜!"

"Mama, beautiful!"

"Fufu, thank you, Allen"

"Thank you too, Elene"

"I also want to get married like Mama-s!"

......what did she just say? Elene getting married? Who of where, fool! I will never allow it!

"Hey, Lei-kun, your weird killing intent is spilling out"

After snapping at Elene's single sentence, Marin bumps my head. Haa! Was I dreaming or something just now? Somehow, it felt like I heard some disturbing words from Elene's mouth. 

Elene is just frolicking about with Aerith and others even when I look at her. I wonder if it was my imagination? 

"Everybody, it is time"

Oops, it's already that time huh. Because we have to spend an entire day going around the Royal Capital today, I guess the time is just about right. It seems that after making a vow in the Throne Room, the Nanor's Royal Family go around the main street of the Royal Capital for the sake of informing the citizens that they got married.

We walk all the way to the Throne Room. Order-wise, it's a structure where Alexia is on my right, Helen is on my left, and Aerith and others are following behind. 

We make our vow after that. After all this time, I'm gonna make everybody blissful even without making a vow. No matter what. 

After making a vow to everybody, it's informing the citizens this time around. A single roof-less carriage is parked inside the Royal Castle, and we get on that carriage and go around the Royal Capital. 

All I can hear from the vicinity are cheers. Occasionally, 'kiss!', 'hug each other!', and such, and jeers from men are audible, so I did it in front of everybody. 

Alexia and Helen, who had it done to them, got furious and went, 'how could you do it in front of everybody! ', the men who jeered were crying blood tears, and the women were screaming, 'kyaーh!', in high-pitch voices. 

"Alexia, Helen, I won't let you go anymore"

"Eh, of course"

"That is a given!"

I want to convey it to Aerith and others as well, but let's convey it to just Alexia and Helen, who are beside me, for now. While receiving blessings from the citizens, we vowed to each other.
