[doodle] in the eyes of despair (Patreon)

another self-indulgent project that I initially wanted to finish up during the last weekend but couldn't due to my POTS having other plans for me so I finished it on the next weekend :) 

this is for an alternate timeline setting of mine where Grima ends up looking more like his dragon counterpart :) working on a fullbody ref for this too since I plan to use it more in the future for specific settings etc, the overall design is also super self-indulgent bcs I do love me some monsters 😏

wanted him to look extra hot- I mean spooky- I mean hot- I mean- ah well you know the deal lol. He also has a tail that's not visible on this particular doodle but just imagine it's there.

while being an experimental and more simple piece it still took me far longer than I had expected because art has been really hard recently and my brain is filled with nothing but static. My partner's been pushing me that I really really need to take a longer break because the stress of the recent weeks has been really getting to me but alas I can't do that with things being the way they are.

this brings me to something I actually wanted to adress for a while, when I'm dealing with a POTS flare and write I'm starting to feel a little better, don't instantly expect me to be instantly at 100% again and jump into my DMs with "hey now you can work on xy!!" , making it worse again every single time it happend so far and only results in my burnout getting worse which in turn results in me taking longer to work on something. So honestly please don't do that.
