Thing is there was no love triangle in the books. Èowyn was intrigued with what Aragorn represented within the histories of the world. And especially due to the legends of his people but also the legends of her people which converge into other events prior to the rise of Númenor. He represents this other world. The glory etc. the glory of battle etc. but as Tolkien was a pretty big war veteran he let it show within her story to NOT glorify war like the teenagers did who were willingly signing up to fight for their country. She loved the IDEA of Aragorn. Be sure to see the extended of the third movie to see what happens with Èowyn!
