I originally posted this draw about 8 months ago for Companions and Honoraries, but in celebration of finally finishing the last story part for this chapter early this morning I decided to repost it for everyone! \T        v    T/ I guess it kinda acts as something of a movie poster for the chapter huh~ XP

This OmniV chapter, titled 'Walk the Path', has really been a trip for me~ X3c
Started thinking up ideas to advance the OmniV team's story with these new characters, concepts, and story elements back in 2018 (and even earlier) while I was still at university XP
Then I started roughly laying out and sketching the original manga pages in 2019 before changing up the format once I started up this Patreon (which tbh I'm glad I changed because otherwise I'd still be very early in the story chapter trying to draw every lil detail XD)
But now after a couple years, the end of this chapter is finally around the corner ;    v  ;/ And the next big steps in my characters' journey can begin! (Like I've mentioned before, I still wanna go through and cleanup/tweak the story text first before I officially call it, but still~ :P) 

For Companions and Honoraries, in the future I have plenty of fun character interactions/scenarios in mind (with and without bondage ;3c) in addition to the new characters sheets, some updated character designs, AMAs and more~ There's plenty to look forward to after this current chapter ends in a few days, so I hope y'all look forward to it as much as I do!

It's been quite the trip indeed Mag. Thank you for putting so much into developping your characters, I feel like not enough artists do it. Your OCs have actual motives, personalities and relationships. They are believable and it makes them 10 times better as both characters and damsels. ;)

I remember when you first posted this picture, and I immediately equated it to Sith Lord imagery and ideology from Star Wars. Looking back on this chapter, and how Ella's powers stem from emotion, I see even more parallels to the Sith and the Darkside. The title's even called "Walk the Path." The path to what? The Darkside? I think Ella is standing on the edge of a knife. Feelings such as love and joy are wonderous and should always be encouraged, but they are intrinsically linked to hate and despair. I don't know what you plan to do with Ella's character going forward, but I feel as though she will tip more and more towards her anger and fury. She could feel more love as well, but this may only compound her hatred. Not only against her enemies, but against herself, for feeling so helpless so much of the time, towards her Omnivoyant powers, as they are essentially responsible for putting her in this fight to being with. Finally, she may even turn her hatred against her own friends, for what reason, I can't say, she may begin to hate them for the very reason she could hate herself; they're ALWAYS helping her, with everything, making her dependent on them. I'm not saying that is what should happen, and I hope it doesn't come off that way, but this picture and its title is so foreboding, its making me speculate on just how intense Omnivoyant could get. Great work Magnolia! Your artwork and your writing are amazing, and provide an inspiration, especially during the hard times in real life. Keep up the great work, your awesome!

That's good! I never wanted any of my characters to fit solely into the 'damsel-in-distress' archetype anyway, especially Ella given she's the main protagonist and needs to grow into someone greater over time~ I always wanted more for my grils than to exclusively be pure fetish fuel~

I remember when I first found your story stuff on DeviantArt. Almost a year ago it was, and I instantly fell in love. I mean, a well-written story with cute girls, bondage, and an actual plot? I couldn’t get enough! Your characters were (and are) more than just damsel material - they’re people, with personalities, wants and wishes, and style! Particularly the Kuro, they’re just so badass to me! I really can’t wait to see where we go with the story next! (Although, I do have a good idea as of where we might be going… but no spoilers from me!) Your work on Omnivoyant has really spurred me to get on with making my own OCs, not to mention writing a lot more! So thank YOU Mag, for keeping on with this! I feel like you’ve made something very special, and I hope to see more of it in the times to come! Edit: And those original manga pages looked great, even though they were just sketches! Pretty cool to see the scene we already read about in that format!

Isn't it fun going back in time to revisit some olden and fun stuff? :) I still remember discovering you with precious Ella and I, for one, wouldn't change a thing. Going on this journey with you has been rewarding as well as lovely (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) And Ella is the face of bada$$ery! Never has "watch out we have a badass here" been more literal!
