This is just a picture of a bunch of different projects crossing paths with each other. My antler painting, the sharpie was for the T shirt designs, an old sketchbook from the deep dives, A maquette for the new Choir paintings, pencils for sketching new painting compositions, a helmet I used for reference for one of those sketches.

I’m about to go into video editing mode. I’ll be putting together some deep dive write ups as well. Like what I did for the sketchbooks.

Happy February 22nd Everybody

It's my brother's birthday. He’s in South America.

I hope Kandinsky can save the day today.

Last night I went out with some friends. So during the day I was trying to get as much video editing and art stuff done as I could. Today I have to go teach. But I couldn’t make a lesson plan.

So I’m going to let the students go abstract today. I’ll show them Kandinskys and try and show them how to use just lines, shapes and colors to make art.

I’ve tried going abstract with these little punks before and it didn’t work.

But I think I have an idea to help them get it, and I I think this idea helps explain a lot about abstract art as well.

The idea is that for it to work, you have to love the lines, shapes and colors you make.

We’ll see if that helps.

Either way, all my eggs are in one basket. I need Kandinsky to save the day.

Have fun

Goodnight sweeties

Kandinsky is always inspirational to most age groups, then again I don't think I've tried to introduce his work to anyone younger than 9, so, Good luck my friend

Yeah I always forget how much I enjoy his work and then I look at it and feel the sense that there’s no rules.
