Fantastic Beast Mini Study -WIP (Patreon)

I really like old dragons and monsters from Medieval artwork and Renaissance artwork. I like the amalgamation of different animals to create a fantastic beast.

for my fantastic beast prompt piece I'm trying to use that amalgamation technique (amalgamation just means combine or unite different things to create something new) but combine some different creatures that are native to the desert environment where I live.

So I've got a coyote, a lizard and a bat.

I designed this creature in photoshop a little and used that as the reference. This is just a study, so I'm going to rework it on a slightly bigger piece (this one is 4x4 inches.)

Here's the photoshop version and I think it looks absolutely Hideous and I love it.
