Teyon Alexander

A show you may like is Warrior. I think it’s on Netflix now. Not a movie so not probably something for the channel but worth watching for yourself. Martial arts, period piece in 1800s California.

Kinokind

I like that you noticed Dean Cundey as the Director of Photography. He was with Carpenter as far back as "Halloween" and later went on to do great things, including a little movie called "Star Wars". I love this movie, but like too many other now-classic Carpenter films, it died at the box office. Most people didn't know what to make of it. Curt Russell is in so many adventure films that people forget how adept he is at comedy. Add this to your must-see list: Before the Bobs, Gale and Zemeckis, did "Back to the Future" they did a little comedy starring Curt Russell called "Used Cars" (1980) about a crooked used car salesman. It is probably my favorite Russell film. He also did a great young-teen comedy for Disney (for which he did many films in his youth) called "Sky High" (2005), about a high school for superhero teens. Allow me to commend both of these to your attention!

Not many people "get it" with this one! It's great that you enjoyed it!!!
