The Candy Canyon Kingdom was not primed for a workout, Gummigoo remembered, but strangely enough, he was finding it easier and easier to bulk up. The idea of working out and getting stronger to take down the Fudge still had a strong hold over the gator, and he had found the candy cane forest and the white chocolate mountains had provided everything he could need— the survival skills he had learned from his dear old mum meant he could fashion the natural elements into weights, something to help make him strong— and he seemed to take to it like a duck to sugar water.

The yellow and green gator had begun to grow into something quite impressive; he had always been hardy, but now he was brawny and musclebound. His body would be tough for any Fudge to chew; his arms were thickly roped and bulged when he curled them, while his chest had widened and filled out pleasingly. When he caught his reflection, he couldn't help but grin— he was a natural, as his body filled out with tough and meaty brawn.

He was preparing for a new workout, as his weights had become lighter and lighter, and he needed to find something stronger for him to lift. He had found some hefty chunks of rock candy that might do the trick, but as he broke apart part of the canyon wall, he found what appeared to be a cavern. Taking a look in, it seemed to be positively massive, and the ground was a long, long way down…
