State of the Patreon - August 2016 (Patreon)

Hello beloved Patrons and honoured guests!

I started this Patreon on January 25, 2016 so it's about time for the SECOND QUARTER update! Thanks so much to everyone who has pledged. I wanted to do a little roundup of where things are at for this Patreon: where things are at, what's been delivered and when, and what's next!

PROMISES and DELIVERIES!

So the calendar above illustrates my Patreon submissions. Orange are Vlogs (hollow circles are scheduled, solid circles are fulfilled). Purple dots are vlogs, blue or green dots are "milestone extras" (when the things that were promised in the milestone rewards were delivered) or bonus ebooks (like sketchbook 2015), and Pink is any other time I've posted to Patreon - at any level. Usually sketches, development work, early comics. Hollow circles are non-exclusive crossposts (usually to the Tradewaiters Podcast).

Still on track for livestreams, still fussing with the best way to record/distribute them. I'm still experimenting, and I think it's getting better all the time.

$2: Sneaky Peaks

Sneaky Peak Patrons frequently get Wasted Talents at least a couple of hours early, but sometimes days or weeks ahead. It all depends on my schedule.  They've also been treated to a number of bonus comics that I'm making for the books and sketch-style comics.  I've been trying to step this level up quite a bit, so hopefully you've been enjoying it :)

$5: Vlogs

Vlogs are still fairly consistent (except for that one week I totally flubbed haha). A few extra development posts went up, but most of what I'm doing is bookwork... all $5 patrons get access to that as well.

WHAT'S NEXT

We're going to skip the SURVEY this round, because I don't think much has changed and I'm still working through the actions from the previous survey. Financial Update coming up next. 

We are less than $30 away from Advice Videos - our next reward level. Still looking to put together a preview of Advice Videos and Livestreams. Looks like I have a lot of video work ahead of me next quarter... but I'm still head-down on BOOKS so I think I'm going to keep that as my top priority.
