Hi everyone, I'm back!

Thanks so much for all of our patience and support while I took a bit of a breather. I definitely had some stuff I needed to process, and I'm glad I gave myself the space to take care of it and come back stronger :)

I slept a lot. I dug my winter stuff out of storage and re-acquainted myself with the process of staying warm and snuggly during the cold and dark months. I got my chores and habits back on track. I was still working my day job but it was nice to just "check out" at the end of the day. I binged Squid Game. I read a lot of comix.

The break really helped, not only was I able to get way healthier and re-inspired, I was able to unknot a few problems in my head. The other day I was able to solve a technical problem at work that had been evading me for like... a REALLY long time! It wasn't even that complicated in the end, it was like that duck/rabbit illusion and I couldn't for the LIFE of me see the rabbit.

I unknotted a few story problems, and came up with a creative plan for the next few months! :) So there will be more exciting things to see here on Patreon soon.

I didn't draw too much during my break (on purpose) but last week I did get a chance to go to the local Cat Cafe to do "Cat Life Drawing". It was a lot of fun! Cats move around a lot so most of these drawings are "gesture" drawings, but it really helped me loosen up and rediscover fun.

My favourite cat was this skinny little orange kitten who was SO fast I could barely even get a squiggle of him down!!

The only other thing that I have to report is that there were two new episodes of Tradewaiters: The Magic Fish, and The Golden Age

Ok... more posts coming soon! Did you get up to any fall fun? (I did a witchy charcuterie/viewing of The Craft with Alina!)

Glad to see you got lots of sleep. Also, those are some huge croissants on the charcuterie board!

They are relatively normal sized, I think the perspective giants them a bit hehe. These croissants were baked from frozen, they are my fav discovery of recent years :0 https://www.spud.ca/catalogue/productdetails.cfm?part=BR617
