May 2016 - State of the Patreon! (Patreon)

I started this Patreon on January 25 which means that it's been going for a little over three months. A FULL QUARTER! Thanks so much to everyone who has pledged. I wanted to do a little roundup of where things are at for this Patreon: where things are at, what's been delivered and when, and what's next!

PROMISES and DELIVERIES!

So the calendar above illustrates my Patreon submissions. Orange are Vlogs (hollow circles are scheduled, solid circles are fulfilled). Purple dots are vlogs, blue dots are "milestone extras" (when the things that were promised in the milestone rewards were delivered), and Pink is any other time I've posted to Patreon - at any level. Some of those are developmental sketches, some of those are birthday sketches, some of those are just general updates.

$1: Livestreams and Finished Works!

I've been pretty good about the Livestreams! I've fulfilled every monthly one so far as scheduled. As most of you know, March/April went kinda sideways for me, but I still managed to get a Livestream up in April :)

Finished works has of course been subject to my ability to actually... finish anything! I was pretty okay at posting the Wasted Talents back when I started (if they weren't sneak peaks) but lately I've forgotten. I'll try to get better at that!

$2: Sneaky Peaks

Sneaky Peak Patrons were treated to an early preview of my Bones of the Coast story Invasive Species! They also got to see the entirety of the J-Pow comic a full week in advance! I also did post a bunch of WT's early, I think that was mostly in Jan/Feb. So with the exception of the March/April bad times I think I'm doing okay on that front :D 

$5: Vlogs

Vlogs are where I've been putting the bulk of my effort, I think. As you can see from the chart, I've been fairly consistent at posting vlog updates.  Developmental work is subject to what it is I'm... developing at the time which lately has been "not much, mostly just executing on plans" so that of course affects what I'm able to deliver ^^' I missed that last week of March during the peak of the March/April bad times (I think that was the week I lost my voice anyway... haha what a mess). 

Vlogs also included some fun updates from Japan and other places I've been travelling. Hooray! 

$10: Birthdays!

My site is currently down (ugh.. a long story for another time) but I did also put the big Thank You banner on the top of the page, as promised. And so far there were three birthdays, and I've delivered those sketches :D

Not yet delivered v_v... I crossed this milestone in March and as stated... March/April was a rough time! THE GOOD NEWS is that I've had a little adventure with my buddy Alina Pete of Weregeek, and we did hourlies! I'm just finishing cleaning those up and you should see them soon. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Okay so those of you who are already Patrons will see a SURVEY going out in the next few hours, as well as a Financial Update. Very serious, much official wow. 

We are less than $100 away from Advice Videos - our next reward level. I want to put together a little preview of what that would be like. I have a good idea but it's hard to explain, of course. So you should see me asking for questions fairly soon. 

My next big project to tackle are BOOKS (Wasted Talent collections) and I've been ramping up that effort, so if you want previous of that work now's the time to get on board.
