I really like the way this page came out, I hope it does a good job of conveying the process flow for assembly between this page and the previous ones. When you look at industrial machinery from the outside, all you can see are sheetmetal boxes, it takes a lot of knowledge and imagination to be able to "see" the real process happening inside. I'm hoping with comics like these I can help to bridge that gap.

The migration aspect was also very interesting to learn about. China has undergone tremendous demographic shifts in the last few generations, and it seems like the changes aren't over yet. I'm really pleased with how Julia and Sfé handle the colour choices on this second page here, it looks really great! Obviously the king crab wasn't housed in the same tank as the other fish, but I took some creative liberties.

If you've never been to a Dim Sum restaurant here's a snapshot of the one we visited in Dongguan

Huuuuuuuge round tables and they bring you dozens of little steam trays. Really fun, and it was considered a "fancy" thing to do so Phil and I were often treated to Dim Sum on our trip.

Unfortunately I'm allergic to like, everything, so I was treated to a lot of Gai Lan and Rice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was going to ask how a child of Vancouver hadn't been to Dim Sum, but realized that a) you grew up elsewhere and came there for college (right?) and then b) I made excuses about different waves of immigrants coming to different places and the "Chinese food" in North America varying a lot because of that. Then I looked at reviews for Vancouver restaurants and have to say, "What, haven't been to Dim Sum!?" Sorry about the allergies. :( Note on the nth edit: I acknowledge that even with the strong Cantonese influence in SF and Vancouver, the Dim Sum in Shenzhen with a local guide must be a real experience.

right with you on the "allergic to everything" aspect of it. Darned iodine allergies. I keep looking at the top page and wondering, does that really say "the solder is melts"? Am I missing something?

Also, "untill" should be "until". Thanks for the pretty! I like the way the purple fish is illustrating migration. ^__^

Ah.... you know I proofread this one and still missed both of these somehow... when you stare at a comics page long enough I think you become Actually Incapable of reading it

Oh I've definitely had Dim Sum it's huge here, I used to go all the time with my colleagues. I was just explaining the concept to those who might never have gone

Same thing happens to me with writing in general: I wrote it and stare at it, edit it, etc., and it eventually just stops looking wrong to me even when it's obvious to someone else! Thank goodness for people who are willing to be our editors!
