Shenzhen Fast - Why Make Stuff Here? (Patreon)

It's wild how much has changed since I visited in 2018. Of course political tensions have always been high in the region (and escalating) but it wasn't even on my mind when I visited. All I could think about was how nice it was to be away from Trump news. 

I had some interesting conversations at the time about the trade war with vendors. But since then the Hong Kong protests and Coronavirus have dominated the news. I'm really grateful that I visited when I did.
