March Round-Up (Patreon)

It's bloss season!!! One of my favourite times to be in Vancouver. In this little drawing I was imagining drones that could help with pollination while insect and bird populations recover. A desktop and phone wallpaper are attached!

Wow new headers...! I also finished a new header for the Skuttleboat Cove project. You can find a timelapse for these little illustrations at this post. I also posted a new autobio comic about THE GYM. Am I gympeople now?

I posted a Studio Update along with a little illustration of a character named Salad. Did I lose any fingers by arbitrarily sawing into furniture with a jigsaw? Did I manage to build a weirdo manga cafe next to my loft bed? Tune in to find out. I also posted a character sheet for the introductory character of Skuttleboat Cove: Aspen!

Patreon remains the best place to keep up with my work

In the fractured prismatic hellscape of social media this month, I posted some pictures of my cats on Mastodon. I got real mad about Affinity getting bought by Canva and dissected a sustainability survey. I also made a Pixelfed because I wanted to federate and find out I guess. It won't be anything new, It'll just be like if tumblr and instagram were mashed together.

Speaking of tumblr I wrote a sorta... webcomic history retrospective that a lot of people seemed to resonate with (oops). I'm also posting all my sad comics that are sad from when I was real sad.

Just chit-chatting on bsky, but I did get a new avatar from lar :)

Y'all know Bad Apple? It's (as far as I can tell) a fan music video for the game Touhou that the fandom insists on replicating in as many obtuse ways as possible. I first heard about it when the madlads reanimated it in r/place of all things. Lately they've also replicated it using a Windows Virus, and also a 3D Printer

Lately I've also really been enjoying the animations of Mallbat.

I have two new rascals!

These two soot sprites are Satsuki, who is very suspicious of everything, and Mei who is very wiggly.

They are extremely shy and have to stay in the studio until I can build their confidence. They are learning about toys! They're both very sweet.
