Good to know that your actor recognition superpowers have some limitations, I'm guessing heavy makeup. That was Kaylee from Firefly, Jewel Staite playing Eliia. I was certain the voice was gonna tip you off at some point.

It wouldn't really make sense for most of the Pegasus stargates to be in orbit of the planets as this would make it impossible for humans and Ancients to just casually travel between planets without taking a ship designed to fit through the stargate all the time. I don't think we got a proper explanation as to why some of the stargates are in orbit instead of on the planet themselves. However, I do like to believe it was done for security reasons; maybe at some point in time there was valuable stuff on these specific planets that the Ancients didn't want any non-Ancients to just discover? A less secure but more energy efficient type of Iris in a sense. Of course the creation of Wraith Darts (which were specifically designed to fit through the gate) makes this particular security advantage null and void as far as the Wraith are concerned.

Even though some of the gates are in space and Atlantis "blew up" ...They could still pretend to people they meet that Atlantis was gone ...What if they escaped Atlantis's self destruct by fleeing in a Puddle Jumper and they've been going from planet to planet via the stargates?? .....There's ways to make it sound believable that Atlantis DID. blow up .....What I wanna know though is... Aside from how stinky the inside of that Puddle Jumper would be ...Is... These people do NOT. look very advanced ...THEY. have zero ways to get to the space gate ......How many off-worlders do they meet (NOT. counting The Wraith) ....And do they even know that there's a gate in space??? They don't look like they've got the means to find out that kind of information 4. Yeeeeeaaah... Ronon's been hunted by The Wraith for 7 years ...Going up against ONE. Wraith ...Easy peasy ...So his reaction "Done by morning" was a good one and he was dead serious too 5. Yeah.. Ronon.. Man.... It would have been kinda cool if that retrovirus ACTUALLY. worked and the Wraith girl would've turned completely human ....If only for you to realise you missed something (Or... Someone.. There really wasn't any need for McKay to come in and ask Beckett and the other dude to come outside and see that the villagers were hunting for The Wraith ....In fact... He should've called Sheppard instead and then just go inside the cave and lock the doors .....ALL THIS. just so the Wraith girl could use the retrovirus on herself without anyone noticing ...Yup.. Contrived 8. Yeah McKay and Beckett suck at hide and seek ....The Wraith girl was probably hiding inside the cave 11. Kinda fucked up... Old Geezer to his dad: "She needed me" ....Oh really?? She did?? What about your dad?? He didn't mean shit to you??? Nah you found an abandoned little Wraith girl in the forest and figured yeah sure I'll just go live in a cave now ...That seems like the best decision 12. Yip... I suppose the only good thing that came out of this episode is that perhaps it helped Beckett with his research ...Maybe that's a good thing ....But otherwise this episode (and 9x07) was really meh ...Hopefully the next one will be better
