For someone who says they were bored, you seemed very engrossed in the episode.

This episode was more than just about her clip show they were some major moments from The President and the air force General to Woosly and General Hammond to Woosly and the President at the end. Also it forshadows a lot on what direction the show will take in the next few episodes without spoiling it.

Don’t love either of these episodes. Feels extremely filler at a time when there shouldn’t be a need for a filler episode. I think i prefer the second episode, even with it being a clip show.

We have the same president for 7 seasons...never once do we hear him or see him. Not even a single frame of the man. Next president comes in and he immediately gets his own dedicated episode. Suddenly we have too many frames of the man. Anyway, the new president appears to be pretty decent and it looks like he does have respect for the people working at Stargate command. However, he does also have his own concerns and while that annoying rat Kinsey didn't become the president, as vice president he is still in a position of power, even more so now than he was previously as just a senator. Can Vice President Kinsey just go away please?

There actually is a reason for it, but I am waiting until the final episode to say. Hard disagree on Resurrection though, as it's just a good episode altogether. It is more of a bottle episode though.

I'm slightly excited - While I'm looking forward to Atlantis, I do have some issues with it and don't find it as good as SG-1 for reasons I won't spoil.

Sometimes I seriously question the intelligence of people on the interwebs 2. Yeeeeaahhh... It WOULD have been funny if I went back and re-edited Sam mentioning "Daniel Jackson... Daniel Jackson... Daniel Jackson... Teal'c ...And Daniel Jackson" at Frasiers eulogy as the names of people Frasier had saved ....However... That was like... 2 edits ago by the time you read this and I've already uploaded those edits ...There's no way for me to go back and fix that ...Ceebs ...I mean... Soz. 3. You want permanent character deaths to make that hollow feeling you've got go away?? ....Well... Shit... I'd suggest The Walking Dead but we both know DAMN well you would never watch that shit ...But as far as permanent character deaths go ...Characters who die on TWD only come back ONCE. (Get it? ...Once... I'll see myself out) 4. Random side note though (added before posting: and yes I saw this was commented on a bunch of times by multiple people but I figured maybe you didn't fully get it yet) ....7x19 was written by Michael Shanks and as you read it was directed by Amanda Tapping... This was also the first episode in Amanda's career where she was the director ....Maybe that's why it was a bit meh? ...Nothing against Amanda ...I just mean it was a first try ...First of many I might add ....And also they needed to do some filler episodes to ramp up the budget for the finale 5. Another random side note... This episode (7x19) deals a lot with N.I.D. ...According to Joseph Mallozzi people have often speculated as to what exactly N.I.D. stands for ...National Intelligence Division ...National Intelligence Directorate and so on and so on ....Wrong though ...It's actually Not A Real Department .....Well... It was SUPPOSED to be N.R.D. but they (Mallozzi & other writers) changed it into N.I.D. cause it sounded better 6. How did Teal'c and Daniel figure out the bomb would go off in 16 hours you ask? ....Welp... I dunno if you noticed this ...But there were symbols glowing on the bomb... Goa'uld symbols... Which were probably Goa'uld numbers counting down ....Guess who can read Goa'uld?? ...No... Not me... Guess again ...No... Not you either ....Come on... Try .......Who the hell is that!?!? Ok I'll just tell you ....I meant Daniel and Teal'c you dum dum 7. Yeeeeaaahhh... Kinda funny to be using a clip of a clip show episode inside of a clip show episode (did you stumble reading that? ...Who am I kidding.. Ofcourse you stumbled) 8. Yeah this president seems like a good dude so far... Doesn't immediately fall for Kinsey's bullshit ...He's willing to see the other side of the story 9. The look on Woolsey's face when Kinsey starts talking FOR him ....He's like "The fuck!? I didn't mean it like THAT." .....It was at this moment Kinsey SHOULD have known ..He fucked up ...But ofcourse Kinsey's gotta Kinsey.. He stupid 10. Hmmmm... I don't agree Froots ...They did have a point that Carter was showing signs of erattic behaviour when O'neill went missing on that moon with Maybourne ...She was being bossy as FUCK. .....An actual trained officer would keep a cool head 11. Y'know what... I suppose telling you that Atlantis WASN'T going to start until Season 8 started might have been a good idea after all ...You probably would've been extra disappointed if you had anticipated it during Season 7 and then found out there was barely anything Atlantis related in the entire season 12. Yeah turns out that perhaps this Woolsey guy might be a good dude after all ...Kinsey screwed himself out of a good ally 13. I suppose aside from 7x20 being a big snore... Something I very much agree with (politics AND clip shows!?! ...C'mon son!) ...It was a necessary episode
